N what's up with the publlic defenders why r they sooo loud. Can't they make their point without projecting the voices from the top of their lungs... bit much

That's a part of Interrogation. You need to be harsh and rough sometimes in asking questions to witness or proving something. Not only Maya shouts loud , sometimes KD does it too.
