You know last time when this happened Abhi came in time and tookj the phone from her and asked her to leave the room .. Luckily today he was in the shower and when h came out he was in time to get the phone and Anita again missed picking it Yipeee but she did get to kn ow the SMS converation and landed at the place !!!

Both Simi and Abhi need to be careful about their mobile phone ..its high time!!
Now, no fayada, when everything is known to one of the most dangerous persons - Anita.

RB signs the letter resigning from the post of Secretary of KTA. So, since when Secretary's had the last word on such things? If I understand correctly, President is at the highest level in such Associations. Ah well, I may have to close my eyes and ears and believe if creatives say so.

Simbhi in the park. We get to know that RB has also signed the order to reopen 'Sethi and Sons'. So, RS's store would be open. At this moment I was thinking about Shanti's poll that she had just started yday, so, the poll was timely. But would there be any other issue like they say - a slip between the cup and the lip?
More so because I know very well Anita is lurking somewhere there and listening to all these.

I wud'nt wonder if Anita will do somthing and stop the reopening of the store looks like my poll did give a positive response in atleast making RB sign the papers !!

yes, even I am wary of Anita doing some damage to the store opening thing. Knowing how adamant her brother, Abhi is, she isn't someone who is going to keep quiet and offer her brother in a platter to the 'karol-bagh-type' girl!

I think I didn't capture about that part when I wrote so much about Anita in my previous post https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/26610745
Much before Anita comes to live in Sethi's house, for some function given by the Sethi's Anita repeatedly reminds Anuj to arrange for A/C ( I don't recall much about that incident) ...Anita and her parents are not adjusting kind of persons at all.
Anita needs her materialistic things to lead even a normal life. When she was there at the Sethi's before marriage, like any other person, she tried to adjust and live for 2 days. But that cannot go on for ever and hence she gets things from her home. But these things were returned and she is not happy, her life has turned out to be miserable. Already she doesn't have much regard for the Sethis and this incident adds fuel to the fire. That is the reason her heart has turned bitter. She thinks the Sethis have given has pain and the only way she knows to give them pain back is to snatch away the things close to them and very important to them, things that matter to them most.

Thats right, if Anuj was anything like Abhi, though Anita's character cannot be changed, Anuj could have controlled her actions. But it happens all the time in real life too... we would be so pissed with someone because of the way they behave, but their spouse instead of seeing their mistakes, support that! I am not talking about bhaiya-bhabhi .. but have seen with so many friends. There are some people who knowingly well support their unreasonable wives.

In all my previous posts I feel it still lacks something.
Here is why, because I have more to say -

The streak of negativeness in Anita's character was always there, much before her first night scene in Sethi's house.
In that function for few hours she and her family cannot live without a/c.
If it was Simi in place of Anita, she would not have made the comments in that house about furniture or the furnishing, she knew fully well that the sethis are middle class people and it would hurt them.
When Simi's marriage with RB was called off, she should have atleast once discussed with Anuj that Simi being the eldest, she should get married before them. There was no hurry for her marriage. Anuj was not running away anywhere or she was not in a state like as in Neetu (preg). She just thought about herself.

That is the reason (in addition to all that I have already said before) why I disagree when you all say that creatives spoiled a good character. The negativeness in that character was always there.

Also, she did have to get married to Anuj that month; the Guru had told them if they did not get married that month, then they would have had to wait another five years, so yes, they were in a rush to get married.

I had composed a detailed reply in response to your post in my head, finally gave up writing because I was too disheartened thinking about the amount of negativity that I suspected would be shown going forward and because of the same reason I had no interest in watching todays episode too.
Finally I did watch todays episode and was sulking seeing the whole Anita-Anuj scene at the beginning and had a smile back on my face only when i saw a happy Abhi driving his jeep.
In your post, I see two different things -
1. Anita's supposed change in character - In all my previous posts on Anita, all I was meaning to write was I disagree the character was changed. I always found that character having negative streaks.
2. Anita's slap to Abhi - Anita at all costs doesn't want Abhi to have any link with the Sethis and the slap was just a 'scare tactics' she used on Abhi to stop him from having/growing that link. Different people choose different ways of 'scare tactics' and she chose to slap.

I know fully well that my above answer in not sufficient, but I do not want to elobrate the negative stuff.

12th Jan 10

Todays episode had 2 key things:
- Abhi breaking off with Simi (via the letter),
- Simi confessing to Mili that she loves Abhi.

I don't know why they are summarizing the story till now since the last 2 days, I wonder if it is to remind the viewers or themselves?
BTW, they mention Simi to be 28 yrs and Abhi to be 22 yrs old. Now they cannot change the ages again and again until 1 year!

Simi is crying in her room. Ladki, ab rone se kyaa faayada?

The highlight of todays episode was the letter. BTW, when did Abhi get time to write that letter? Whatever, the letter was so good that I should ignore that small glitch.

Abhi's letter:
"Simi,
I don't think hereafter it would be good if we meet. I just wanted to say 'Thank you' to you. I have learnt a lot from you. I have learnt to love others. I have learnt to strangle my own happiness. In addition I have also learnt to cheat the loved ones. If I had not met you, I would've been this irresponsible, carefree, selfish kid. You have made me grow older in age and smaller in front of my own eyes, for this, Thank You. I don't know if I should sign off with an 'I love You', but I am writing, bcos even I don't know how to lie but have learnt even that now from you.

I thought Abhi loved Simi too much to break off with her. But he does! yeah, self-respect is also something you see! Last time when Simi so desperately wanted Abhi to confess behind the temple and he doesn't, she rejects his offer to be 'just friends'. So, when she can have self-respect why not our Abhi!
Simi is left looking at the ring Abhi gave. Abhi gave his love, support, lucky bell, joker, ring, Rs. 10K, sold his jeep, got a flat, a job, matured beyond his age. What did Simi give him other than pain and her problems?

Anita enters Simi's room. Anita, you are entering at a wrong time baby, Simi has lost the love of her life and sitting like a wounded tigress, you better watch out what you talk otherwise Simi is going to spit fire on you now. And thats exactly how Simi behaves when she opens her mouth. Hope Ms. Simi madam remembers not to trust this makkar Anita ever again in her life!
But hey hey why are you talking nonsense now? Who brought out the topic of Will and why are you talking about getting your name removed from the beneficiaries of the Will? You are already forgetting - don't do too much favor on others.

Mili overhears the conversation and finally Simi blurts out that she loves Abhi and she has lost him forever. Mili is unable to understand whether to be happy (that Simi and Abhi loved each other) or to cry (with her bcos she thinks she lost him)?

BIG Question: Would Simi call Abhi atleast to thank him? Would he pick the call if she does?
