HIT 3 Star Nani Ducks the ‘Pan-India’ Label, Says Not Every Film Has to Be another KGF, RRR or Pushpa

Telugu star Nani is gearing up for the release of his next thriller HIT 3, and in a recent chat with Varinder Chawla, he shared his honest opinion on the trend of pan-Indian films. While many actors aim to make their projects big nationwide successes, Nani said he is not looking at HIT 3 in that way.

Talking about the growing pan-India trend, Nani said, “I do not look at this as a pan-India film. But pan-Indian films are, I think, what we have seen before—KGF, Baahubali, RRR, Pushpa, films which are anticipated eagerly across the country. They do stage it like that. Of course, pan-India is a word termed by media. But I don't want to get into that space.”

He explained that instead of branding HIT 3 as a pan-India project, he is more focused on giving the audience a quality experience. “Right now I am trying to release my film here and make sure that whoever is watching my film… there's a lot of interest for HIT. So whoever wants to watch the film will have a quality product with a nice dubbing, in a nearby theatre, it should be available,” he added.

Nani also mentioned that good dubbing plays a key role. He is making sure that the dubbed versions feel natural so that viewers in different regions can connect with the emotions and characters easily.

HIT 3 features Nani in the intense role of Arjun Sarkar, a tough cop who takes on a dangerous mission to rescue a 9-month-old baby. The film follows HIT: The First Case (2020) starring Vishwak Sen and HIT: The Second Case (2022) featuring Adivi Sesh.

Srinidhi Shetty, who rose to fame with KGF, plays Nani’s love interest in the film. Produced by Nani’s sister Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema along with his banner Unanimous Productions, the film is set to hit theatres on May 1.
