Is SS Rajamouli Secretly Planning Mahesh Babu’s Rs 1,000 Crore Film Release on RRR’s Anniversary?

There’s a lot of excitement in the air for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Mahesh Babu. As per Gulte’s report, this move is not only symbolic but also strategic. It could be Rajamouli’s way of celebrating the massive success of RRR while introducing his next epic to the world. However, no official statement has come from the makers or Rajamouli himself.

This upcoming film is said to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, with a mind-blowing budget of ?1,000 crore. Industry experts and fans are closely watching every development. The film stars Mahesh Babu as the lead hero, with Priyanka Chopra opposite him. Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is reportedly playing the main villain.

Pinkvilla also reported that SSMB29 will not be released in two parts. “The filmmaker wishes his storytelling to be compact and doesn’t want to stretch it just for the sake of it,” the source revealed. This clears earlier rumours that the film might come in multiple parts.

Rooted deeply in Indian mythology and history, this film is expected to be a visual treat. A large part of it was shot in Odisha, and some behind-the-scenes pictures and videos have already gone viral. MM Keeravani, who gave music for RRR, is again composing the soundtrack for this film.
