Recently it was reported that actor Ajay Devgn visited the Sabarimala Temple in Kerala. While the actor meticulously followed all of the rituals for his visit, some of which lasted nearly a month, netizens were surprised when Ajay was spotted riding the palki as he descended the temple stairs.

According to a source close to the actor, Ajay's decision to avoid the stairs was motivated by his health as well as security concerns.

According to reports, the temple authorities advised Ajay Devgn to be carried in a palki for security reasons.

This was mainly done to avoid any gathering or chaos keeping in mind the safety of all the devotees coming to the temple. Apart from this, Ajay Devgn who is an action hero, has had multiple leg injuries over the years. Going by what his doctor has recommended, he has been asked to avoid walking for longer duration since he is currently being treated for the same, the source revealed.

He is now preparing for the release of SS Rajamouli's film 'RRR.' Apart from that, he has projects such as 'Kaithi,' 'Raid 2,' and 'Singham 3' planned for this year.
