Govinda’s Health Update: Actor under close monitoring post fainting, neurologist consult advised

Bollywood actor Govinda, presently at CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, is undergoing medical evaluations, including neurological consultations. The 61-year-old actor was admitted on Wednesday, November 12, after experiencing a loss of consciousness at his home. According to his friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, Govinda was promptly taken to the hospital.

Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, shared insights into the actor's current health status and the events leading up to his hospitalization. Speaking with IANS, Sinha offered details regarding the situation, providing a clearer understanding of the circumstances surrounding Govinda's admission to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai.

He had a severe headache and felt heaviness in his head. He also experienced dizziness, and because of that, he has been advised to see a neurologist. Doctors are conducting thorough check-ups. He was admitted last night, and the doctor will examine him soon, Sinha said.

Govinda's health is under close observation, with anticipation for the results of his medical tests.

Govinda’s bullet injury incident

In October 2024, Govinda was previously admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai due to a leg injury. The incident involved a licensed revolver, resulting in a wound below his knee. The actor underwent an hour-long surgery in the ICU to remove the bullet, which was successful.

Media reports indicated that the injury occurred while Govinda was inspecting his licensed firearm before a trip to Kolkata. As he was returning the gun to its storage, it slipped from his grasp and accidentally discharged, leading to the injury.
