Govinda on Sunita, "jo nahi bhi kehna wo keh deti hai, mai itna maaf......." amid divorce buzz

For the first time since reports about his separation made headlines, Govinda addressed his relationship with wife Sunita Ahuja and what he said gave fans a glimpse into their long and layered marriage.

The couple, who have been married for nearly four decades, have often been in the spotlight for their ups and downs. Recently, reports of a possible divorce surfaced after Sunita hinted at infidelity in interviews. However, Govinda’s words on the show painted a more emotional and reflective picture of their bond.

“She is a child herself,” says Govinda

Speaking about Sunita, Govinda said with a fond smile, “She is a child herself. My children handle my wife as if she’s a child. Sunita is like a kid, but the responsibilities that she was given, she could manage our household only because she is what she is. She is an honest child. Her words are never wrong. It is just that she says things that she shouldn’t. The problem with men is that they can’t think on those lines. I always believe that man runs the house but women run the whole world.”

Govinda also admitted that he has often chosen forgiveness over confrontation in their relationship.
