Sunita Ahuja’s video of prayers for Dharmendra go viral amid Govinda’s hospitalisation

Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has expressed her hopes for veteran actor Dharmendra's swift recovery. A recent video captured Sunita interacting with paparazzi at Mumbai airport on Tuesday evening, where she discussed Dharmendra's health.

Sunita told the paps upon being asked about Dharmendra, "Govinda gaye the kal milne unse, main Mumbai mein nahi thi. Woh humare family ke sabse favourite actor hai, woh He-man hai. Main mata rani se kal se prarthna kar rahi hu ke woh jaldi se jaldi theek ho jaaye pehle ki tarah (Govinda went to meet him yesterday, but I wasn’t in Mumbai. He is our family’s favourite actor... our He-Man. I’ve been praying for his speedy recovery)."

"Meri dil se ye dua hai bas main acchi khabar sunn lu. Main bhi jaongi unko dekhne ke liye. Ho jaayenge woh theek. Punjabi log kabhi haar nahi maante. Ekdum first class ho jayenge woh (My prayer is just to hear some good news. I will also go to see him. He will get well. Punjabis never give up. Govinda’s health update

Following Dharmendra's discharge on Wednesday morning, reports emerged indicating that Govinda was admitted to Criti Care Hospital in the early hours of November 12. The reports stated that Govinda had lost consciousness at his Mumbai residence, prompting immediate medical attention.

Govinda was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after fainting at 8:30 pm the previous night. Following a medical consultation, he received treatment.

Initially, Govinda's condition improved with medication. However, after experiencing renewed discomfort around 12:30 am, he was admitted to a critical care hospital in Mumbai at approximately 1 am.

Lalit Bindal, Govinda's friend and legal advisor, informed NDTV that the actor received medication following a telephonic consultation before being admitted to the hospital.

"He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 am," Bindal confirmed to NDTV.

The airport video featuring Sunita's comments coincided with the news of Govinda's hospitalization, occurring just a few hours prior.
