@ Diya you should not apologise for the length of this beautiful post ...
It was wonderful and nothing touches one than the fact that somebody really took the time to read and analyse what one wanted to convey

This is for Element 5, The Sky ...

8th May is Rabindranath Tagore's birthday. So, I will try to use a few lines from his limitless treasure trove...

Even though the Sky can't be touched, but she always assures that there are millions of lamps glowing to enlighten the route, so that none of her children is being lost. The pitch black night Sky hosts the Moon, which enchants the mind through dreams; which are only to be torn apart, shredded into pieces, by the sword of light of the Sun of the morning Sky, revealing the reality.

The Sky fills the world with light. The clouds form in her vast expanse & emptiness; ultimately to fall as Rain quenching the thirst of the drought ridden Earth, relieving her from all the pains & burns, and also of the raging Fire, containing him as the eternal gleam of very life. In return, both the Earth & the Fire can only sing the words of praises as their gratitude...

Diya, I loved your post.
Tibs, I'm not commenting yet on your post because I loved it so much and I want to say something very meaningful and that is why I am waiting to be properly on my laptop before I comment. Though now I think nothing will be meaningful enough 😆

So Tibs I'm finally back on the laptop and ready to comment.
You write so wonderfully and not just in terms of the language you use, but in terms of the possibilities that you create. I've seen this show, even participated in analyses, but you created an extended metaphor that actually leaves the show behind.

The elements all work in this analogy and show just how universal, essential and unchanging these characters are. They give them permanence even as they make them difficult to hold on to. Your writing defines their essence, and once you've shown me that this is the way to think about them, I cannot think about them in any other way.

Please do keep writing and thank you so much for this wonderful post. 😊

Thanks Vedika ...
I would not be honest enough if I said I always planned to write on 5 elements ... and that too based on the characters of this show
Something clicked on me the Friday I saw Mahek screaming in front of the fire and then I thought of what Mahek meant for Shaurya
And then things fell into place ...

You're welcome 😊
And that's always how writing begins - in bits and pieces, in images and fragments. That definitely does not detract from the beauty of your post.

This for Element 4, The Earth ...

In Tagore's words, "The child asks the Mother 'Where have I come from ? From where have you picked me up?' The Mother, with tears & smiles, says 'You were residing in my mind as will'"...

The Earth has sheltered the Fire in her core, relentlessly trying her best to shield him from the tormenting influences. But has she been able to contain him satisfactorily !!! Perhaps no. That's why the Fire beneath her soothing crust erupts violently and frequently in the form of volcano; sometimes on the pretext of slightest provocations, sometimes on his own free will. The resulting inferno aided by molten lava destroy everything in his path, eventually scalding the Earth herself, until his rage diminishes for the time-being; only to be erupted again. But again, Earth is synonymous with patience !!

In order to protect the Fire from extinguishing, her subterranean layer is concealing arcane truths, too devastating to be exposed. She is afraid of loosing them at every passing moment. She is trying to safeguard, but... What will she do when it will be the day of the game to destroy this game !! What will she do when her apparently happy abode will get shattered by the game of fate !! What will she do when the beads of carefully woven garland will get scattered !!!
