I totally get the laptop issues, mine has been acting like a prissy regency era man.
Anyway I'm delighted to see that the plot bunnies have successful pulled you into FF territory. More words for me to eat, especially when they are so well written, make me happy!

Yay- post show FF, more like Kelly's world of her own. I personally find this a smart choice. This way you do not get affected if they screw up anything in the show *fingers crossed that the show gets better each day*
I loved their little chats and I miss them dearly, so to have you continuing down that path is certainly a welcome thing.

I love the realism that you always managed to maintain. It makes it easier for me to slip into the story and just relish the experience.

I adore the contrast between what they think of the real and the online.
Shaurya's especially.
His reaction to her moving, the thought of her having a marriage fixed for her and his relief at that not being the case was my favourite bit.
I want to know more and soon!

Now that's out of the way back to your comment. I just had to restablish their online friendship as it was an integral part of their connection and I thought what better way than having Mehek in a position where she would be completely reliant on this form of communication as a whole. And frankly the poor soul deserves a break after the torture of the competition and Shaurya in particular so off to America she is. I am actually combining two addictions in this FF: this couple and as you've figured one of my favorite travel destinations...corny yes, but trust me if I get it right it will make perfect sense. Expect a bit of a crossover in the next chapter which I am sure you especially will appreciate. Oh and I promise I wont abandon the other two FF either😆 I am going to use MehRya updates as the reward for updating the other two so that I will eventually finish them too...at least that's the theory I'm working on😉

Thanks Jani. Amazingly something popped in my head that I couldn't let go off: it seemed the perfect storyline. Now the fun of translating it from my imagination to the written word...I will do my very best, and I hope you enjoy it. Will PM when Chapter 1 is ready to go😊

Waida I read your comment and smiled for more than one reason:

Yes the magic of MehRya is afoot. Trust me my protests were true- I had no thought of or plans at all to start a FF when I woke up yesterday morning. Well so much for that.

Their online communication is a must in my eyes for a proper FF so it had to be restablished right away and given a reason to flourish, so off Mehek goes.😊

And lastly my eyes were drawn to key words in your comment and I went hmm. Is Waida on to the direction of my plot already...I wonder.

Hope to update sooner than I normally do, and hope you will find Chapter 1 as enjoyable.

Thanks Anika. It is comments like this that give me the confidence to continue to write. I am probably over critical of my writing which probably accounts for my slow updates, but I am really going to try to do better with this one. Will def. PM you with the next.

Hey Nicky thanks a lot. I know that i havent revealed that much in either the synopsis nor the prologue so the fact you are liking it is icing on the cake for me. The online chatting which I agree is sorely a miss on the show, will have no choice but exist as the online friends are at such a distance now. I hope I am able to capture the essence of them well enough and that you enjoy them as well as the story in general.
