@DefLeppard - As we all know, Fatmagul went thru the savagery of a brutal gang rape. Post which she was humiliated by her fiance and his parents, accused of baseless, awful cheating charges and then abandoned to face the horrifying post rape trauma on her own. On top of that she was betrayed by her own SIL and subjected to frequent vicious tongue lashes from her from time to time. If that was not enough she was forced to not file the complaint and marry one of those complicit in the crime... a person she didn't know at all and thought was equally culpable in the crime.

Given the rape trauma, betrayal by her childhood friend and fiance, abuse by his family, her SIL's betrayal/continued viciousness towards her, persistent pressure from Yasarans, her trust issues with Kerim given his role that day, her increasing dilemma abt him as she continued to discover a different loving/caring side of him as she gradually got to know him... I mean, given all this, is the mental state she must be in not understandable? Is it not something that shld be compassionately empthazied with? I am saying this because I don't get your saying she doesn't know what she wants and then making fun of it or mocking her for it.

Firstly, I don't agree that she doesn't know what she wants. On the contrary, she has clearly voiced many times what she wants. As she herself said, her priorities right now are - to stand on her own two feet/become financially independent, continue with her healing process thru therapy/counselling support and thirdly getting justice for herself. It's only with respect to her relationship with Kerim that she has been a bit unsure and has been taking tentative steps... and understandably so, given her terrible experience with Mustafa in the recent past, background of the start of her association with Kerim and her general trust issues induced by the trauma of being raped. Having said that, even in her relationship with Kerim, she has been making a lot of progress and has come a long way.

Given all this, as I said above, I really dont get why you think she is not aware of what she wants. Even if she was unsure of what she wanted, wldnt it be understandable given the horrific trauma she has been thru... or rather is still going thru. Doesn't she deserve empathy and understanding given the nature of her ordeal, instead of being mocked at or made fun of. Wld genuinely like to know your thoughts on this

In response to this, can we plz not say that since it's fiction its fine to make fun of the mental trauma of a rape victim to make things lighter (as I have seen this being said in some past comments that I happened to go thru) :P. We all know how, despite it being fiction, everyone has been giving their strongly held views reg diff characters quite passionately and in all seriousness, be it to justify their actions/empathise with them or for doing the opposite :)). Therefore, it being fiction is really a moot point and shld not be invoked only in case of Fatmagul :D

FG stepping out ...leaves for DTwasis divided.

Dummy recalls having a nasty fall while learning to ride her bicycle. She was 8years old then.*that bsa slr lady bird anyone?*birthday gift*
While the cycle had few bruises, road had a dent, dummy had her leg fractured!!
She recovered with utmost care & was waiting to start her ride back.
Dummy's mommy explained to go slow, maybe restart on a level ground & be alert of other cyclists.
But adventurous Dummy had other plans...like those all terrain bikers...wanted to.go Yo!
The consequences were told, but choice was mine.
FG is correct in her sense*remember that dont care cocoon stage*.But responsible fans are also correct*cant see Kerim run after her like that*

Edits-
FG stepping out always creates a debate on the DT.*fact, not fiction*
Refer to DT 2.

Disclaimer: Pure work of fiction has to be taken very seriously. Dummy presents her dissertation thesis to the panel of USFG (now read.as University of Sanskari FatmaGul) studies.*kill me*nervous like Kerim*Dummy needs her degree*

Topic: Rapists v/s Mustafa cost benefit analysis
Rapists have been there & done it. Period.
Their families have hushed up the case rather face it. So NO iota of love, respect or hugs for them. They have to own up their act & face the judgement.
In the rarest of rare case*Remembers Ujjwal Nikam here* there is a not so real character Kerim. He is one of those self improving kids who need not attend slow learning extra classes. He has compromised his values in the initial episodes and now reached C " grade in his course.*aims for A+* He knows B & then A has to be achieved. He is closer to REALITY.
Repeating on others is waste of data centre resources.

Mustafa is like the school drop outs*due respects to jobs, zukerberg, branson, ellison etc*wanna be dude. No logic, no reality. Infact its him who is looking his life as FICTION. He knows that playingFG card will get him easy money & some sukoon.Perhaps he is suffering more than rapists. Cuz deep inside he knows that his dream.run will end. Him impregnating Aasu is the biggest saboot of what lowlife he is. While the pisliks have never bern able to lead normal relationship with any female*in some cases shuru hone se.pehle khatam hogaya* rofl* can I?

Dummy gyan : A petty thief A robs to buy medicines for his mother. Another petty thief B robs ... "in the name" of buying medicines for his mother.
Peace

@DefLeppard, Dummy's such a cutie pie 👍🏼
Regards Fg stepping out, well, now that she has, thread opinions can take it easy... Saying Yes to go out is like being Fg herself, saying No is like being Kerim/Rehmi... both parties have validating reasons as expressed...

Regards Mustafa, he's suffering yes but that's to sniff out another set of victims and opportunities to further his luxurious life (car, hotel, world travel). His pretence at being emotionally worked up is such a facade to hide his true aspirations, which is to have a harem involving victimised souls.

Thanks poweritz. Am not such good detective. Just guessed this one. But this was also Erdogan's plan I think, which Vural overheard and went to warn Kerim about. May be Erdogan and Munir are planning this together?

@kamala2012... thank you for encouraging words... your thoughts of Munir wanting Mustafa to kill Kerim could be quite plausible... should that happen the entire Fg camp will call it quits, although Meryem and Kaderbhai will still long to fight for justice... have to say you have an investigative bent of mind. Thread junta will love to see more such views from you! 👏

Well said!! 👏👏

About the Musti v/s Trio debate, I think if I have the chance to strangle someone to death, it'll be Mustafa. Thats how much I hate this character. The rest I'll send for death row/life imprisonment whatever the law of Turkey has.

Being under the influence of drugs/alcohol doesn't justify rape. Period! Its not an excuse for raping someone. But what Mustafa did was far worse than the rape, he left her on her own and acted like an ass. Then after finding out the truth he made money off her misery, the woman he claimed to love! 😡

The trio at least has a reason for lying and plotting, they need to save their skin. But Mustafa!! This man is a jerk, its all the more proven by the way he treats Aasu 🤢🤢

Completely agreed with the bold part. I used the wrong word 'justified' but trust me, in no way the rape is justified. It's just that Mustafa is worse than those three... At least for me.

Agree with the rest too.⭐️

I understood what you meant in that post of yours Aashi 🤗, even if you wrote "justified" I pretty much knew you didn't mean it in the way that some people misunderstood

@kamala2012...

Given the face-off between Munir and Erdogan prior to the case, I don't think they had this planned together. I guess this was what the Munir-Risat combo cooked up, knowing that all other routes are almost shut to them. Erdogan, if he plans something, involves his loyal Ismail than Munir. He knows Munir is loyal to his enemy Risat Yasran. But these are just my conjecture, the reality could be something else...
