Its something that does happen, especially when the Bhabi n Devar tend to be of almost the same age and they are on friendly terms.
Since the promos show them to be very positive characters, the only probable way in which people might empathize with them is this.

The husband/elder brother is out to earn and the wife is lonely here (she is shown missing him in 1st promo). The devar shares an emotional bond with her and progressively gets kind of attracted to her, but doesn't go too far knowing his limits. The husband out there resorts to philandering ways like casual flings or is a major workaholic not liking interference by his wife or maybe looks down upon his stay-at-home housewife (like an earlier show Yahan Pyar Nahi Hai). The devar sympathizes with bhabi n starts doing things out of his way, attracting attention. The relationship gets looked down upon. Maybe later the husband learns a lesson and wants to reconcile and family pressurizes the wife for the same. Now depends on CVs on whom they want the wife to end up with.

Just a guess, but the only way the show can be watchable for ideal Indian audiences without sounding gross.

Just one thing i have noticed in recent years , thanks to our idiot box means hindi shows where they have portrayed woman either a sati savitri with tons of tears or the vamp with twisted faces . no another shade there ,perfect DIL and are more regressive . Why its acceptable if she falls faor someone from out side why not someone who is living in the same house . Love is not something which you plan .
I asked Zindagi to bring the shows from its archive and show today what strong content based story lines were written . Aadhe adhure is nothing . Its about compatibility , or sometimes having the same tastes .

The name itself is so beautiful na neerjaa?

Incomplete...

Both have the sense of void in them... Yet to explore as the show continues but the name itself gave me goosebumps...

It would be nice to watch the emotional intricacies of this bond...

And yes that's what I loved... Jassi isn't a superwoman... She's a human. She's flawed. She's natural.. She's relatable...

Yes it may be called as cheating... But then that's what makes it so real and relatable... U will see cheating more nowadays and not 7 janmo ka rishta...

Let's for a change see smthn real that the show offers...

Again I don't mean to offend anyone... Its a personal opinion after all 😊
