I liked the diary sequence of Kashaf at her house too...that one of the reasons she has fallen for him is because how well he fits into her world.

I have read the novel in bits and pieces. And I have already stated bfore in this thread that Novel's Zaroon was too much chauvinist for my liking. He had slapped Kashaf two times in the novel. First during the library fight and 2nd after their marriage when she had politely refused to wear a saree of his choice. Im in love wid the much toned down version in the series. Im glad how Sultana Siddiqui made improvisations in the script.. Otherwise I think it wudnt have been such a treat to watch on-screen. The Series wala Zaroon is my Baby..❤️ I have read in sum social forum a female was saying that how can women love this chauvinist and conservative Zaroon? Is it just that he was given a handsome face of Fawad Khan? I loved the reply given that Series wala Zaroon was much much more toned down than the series and Kashaf was shown to be no-nonsense. Otherwise, I wonder how did she tolerate being slapped by Zaroon that to two times? I wud have paid him back in the same coin.. Let him be My Shauhar. Strange!
