As much as I dislike the novel version of Zaroon and had major problems with the novel here and there, some of the writing in the book is beautiful.to say the least. There was this line in the novel which went something like .."Mujhe aisa lag raha hai ki mere kamre ki sabse keemti cheez mujhse door ho gai ho" after Kashaf went to her maternal place after their marriage..ofcouse we got that beautiful "She is my centre of gravity" quote in the show version but I really liked this one aswell
There are many such beautiful quotes in the book.

Umera has a way with words..plus I like her spiritual views. Though some of her solutions are very sexist.

Even I feel that they stayed in Pakistan.Coz even Z mentioned to Ghazala once that he didn't want to leave Pakistan anymore..

OK we have often heard abt how the novel Zaroon was so much more chauvinist than the drama one. But never read the novel Kasahf being different from the drama Kashaf But just recently while discussing it with someone, I was told that the novel's Kashaf was much more headstrong than the drama one.

I am reading d book in roman urdu, but coz I can't download it, I have to read it online and am not tht comfortable reading it off the computer screen.😳

I guess his reasoning behind always giving her one rose was that she was special to him.Like that dialogue goes if I remember correctly..."Tum meri wahid sathi ho ..." He did give her bunch of roses when she got pregnant though😆 Other funny line that's coming on my mind is "Kisi bhi biwi ki tareefe uske muh pe nai karni chahiye uska dimag kharab ho jata hai" and alo "Zada tareefe ki toh toh sar pe chadh jayegi" or something like that😆

Kashaf is thinking in the flashback where both are roaming and Zaroon tells her that people are waiting how long my marriage will last and so on and then tells her in the last that i pamper you too much ..Both were in white . Zaroon was no doubt was a unique piece .
I liked the way he gave her one rose as that one rose wa more precious and all that i wrote after watching the Pak dramas . He was expert in one liners.
I found him to be very considerate and he treated Kashaf as if someone precious but not letting his childish tantrums go and that also to get her attention .

Zgh . It has been truly the greatest drama ,so realistic ,so full of positivity n so refreshing till the end . I have to admit that the theme ,the writing ,the dialogues , the one liners ,the songs - the countless unique qualities of this show had stunned me completely . Then fawad n Salam were so superb that they looked like zaroon n kashaf in real life . Fawad is a natural actor n overacting was nowhere displayed by him even in a sec scene and sanam was also superb but she had an author backed role which she had acted in the best manner . Her initial univ scenes with zaroon n her later success in life ,her marriage scenes - all were like a whiff of fresh air . No drama can surpass Zgh ! It has been the most charming n the most realistic love story . That is why ppl of all ages and across all borders habe loved it immensely . No one should miss watching it ! The heroine 's viewpoint n her transformation towards the end was the main theme n it was enacted beautifully. Fawad was excellent in a heroine based show . Some loopholes were not taken care of but still the story n the scenes were never boring at all even for a sec ... Except that some of the stepmom's scenes looked dragged on .who wanted to see what happened in her life ? Zgh should have been made into many more episodes as the very real like n authentic love story was able to touch everyone 's heart ,,no ott ness was shown ,the acting was top class n the other cast was also very good . . The Hindi tv dramas have to learn a lot to produce something which can remotely compete with Zgh . The Saas bahu sagas ,the evil in laws plottings , the bedecked girls with heavy makeup were rightly given a miss to our relief ! . Ppl on this forum can talk about it again n again 😆

Yes...once he decided he wanted to marry Kashaf he tells Ghazala that he wants to eventually settle down in Pakistan and is no longer keen on seeing the world. But he also tells Hammad that he is welcome to visit them when he is posted abroad. So I assume Zaroon planned to either take short assignments abroad and go alone or perhaps go abroad for a some time but eventually settle in Pakistan.
How many sons do they have?

They had 2 sons in the novel.Z was shown to attend multiple meetings in abroad.Infact in one such visit,Kashaf realizes that she has fallen deeply in love with him over the course of years. She mentions in her diary how when Z pampers their kids, she falls more in love with him.I thought that was a beautiful excerpt.Though the diary entry when Z stays over at her place in the drama is something else altogether.

Thats a UA common concept I think. The same was told in DeS.
