Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's baby girl Raha brings the 'soul' into actress' wish for husband

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is celebrating his 43rd birthday today, September 28, in the company of his wife Alia Bhatt and their daughter Raha Kapoor. On the occasion, Alia shared a series of pictures on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the family celebration. The highlight was a handwritten note from their daughter Raha, wishing her father a happy birthday.

In the note, Raha wrote, “Happy Birthday best papa in the world.” Alongside the card, Alia shared images of Ranbir and Raha’s hands as they picked slices of birthday cake. Another picture showed Alia and Ranbir holding each other close against a scenic sunset. The caption read, “happy birthday our whole and soul ??🌈?.”

During a live interaction on Instagram from his lifestyle brand Arks, Ranbir spoke about the gifts he received from Raha. He revealed, “Raha made me a promise that she will give me 43 kisses, so I got that!” The actor shared that the thoughtful gesture made his birthday feel even more special.

Raha, born on November 8, 2022, is the couple’s first child. Ranbir and Alia had begun dating while working on Ayan Mukerji’s 2022 film Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva and married the same year. The couple had kept Raha’s face private initially, maintaining an agreement with the paparazzi, before revealing her at the annual Kapoor Christmas luncheon in 2023.

On the professional front, Ranbir will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, and Lara Dutta in key roles. The film will be released in two parts, with the first part scheduled for Diwali 2026.

The actor will also share screen space with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War, which is currently under production.
