Khidmat may not always mean sex, of course. But in that scene's context, what other service may the man want one in the night. 😆And milna too, in the context suggested he wanted her to come close to him, and not necessarily have sex.

Re the lights scene, yes it was supposed to indicate that their relationship is progressing in the right direction. But that was about an emotional connection and beginning of love.

Disagree about khidmat & milna meaning sex in that context. Its hard to explain as you have to be a native Urdu speaker to understand. The first didn't mean "service" - it was just a linguistically fancy way of saying "I can't stay up to chat" - given that they're husband and wife it may or may not have led to physical intimacy that night but the line didn't mean that.

And milna is just hanging out together - nothing more & nothing less. 😆

One thing I love about the Zindagi shows is that there is no obvious show of physical relationship between the couples

Full family can watch the shows Together

Well yes. We can only speculate what all they would have been up to post throwing the pillow or what Ashar really wanted to do with her after woh use mile. 😆

Though I strongly believe that physical and emotional intimacy go hand in hand. As their equation grew emotionally, it must have grown physically too, being very natural to man and wife. And only so these little scenes somehow hinted to me in a different way.😆

It's a complete family watch, yes. I watch it so comfortably with Mom and Dad!
And even though lacking any kind of physical intimacy, the beautiful dialogues and the subtle love scenes showcase love way more brilliantly than physical intimacy would have. Kudos!

The old thread isn't done yet, shouldn't it be finished first? It still has 2-3 pages to go.

You're welcome.

I have to say though, the book is quite different from the serial. Everyone has their preferences, I like the serial more than the book.

Feel free to ask what the words mean if you get stuck, I'll help as much as I can 😊

I have loved the serial, let's see how the book is. My highpoint for the show was brilliant performances, especially by FK and MK, and a beautiful OST, and both shall be missed in the book.

But then reading has another charm! Besides, I have fallen in love with the Urdu 😃 and would love to brush it up a tad bit. So yes, I will surely keep getting stuck up and bother you😆😆
