@BoldI am sorry but i completely disagree with this. I think such scenes were the highlight of ZGH as they portrayed reality. Every parent for that matter would give such advises to their children. And in particular, Rafia was being more concerned as she knew how Kashaf was. She was so pessimistic and Kashaf had seen a broken marriage. I think every parent would be scared of the repercussions of it on their children.if one has watched the serial carefully, one can notice scenes where Rafia's advises have worked in favor of Kashaf.A scene where Zaroon's mom mentions that Kashaf keeps calling her regularly and keeps a tab on things and she's so used to her calling now that when kashaf doesnt call she gets tensed.Another scene where Zaroon tells his mother how happy he is because Kashaf takes care of his every lil thing.N Murtaza leaving Rafia was another issue altogether. till date there are families who want a male child and not a girl. So the issue is quite serious and 'taking care and cooking' doesnt even matter here. Every woman does that to the family. Im just trying to say that he left her for a very serious issue and not some trivial issues like cooking.@Red partSo if one is educated u expect them not to give such advises to their own children??😕 Again i think educated or not educated every parent will give such advices to their children for their good. Its a very special show which i love so i wanted to just post my opinion. No offence meant to you.😊No question of any offence.😊 You put down your point of view very well. I see where you are coming from.Rafiya and her gyaan really bugged me, for reasons I have mentioned. But again my stance is different for other reasons. I also know that this is the most natural and common thing in our society, and it completely fine, give the social set up and norms. Also in Durreshahwar, though I didn't agree with many of the messages given, I really liked it as a story and production. It was very well made, and surely worth watching not only for performances, but even for the way relationships were handled.I love to hear different points of view. It also helps one into being tolerant and respectful of opinions which are totally different, which always have merit too.The best thing, as we call can see, is that our take and what we get out of these serials can be so different, yet nothing is wrong. And i sincerely feel there is no comparison between the two shows. They were of different genre. And its more of individualistic choices so i guess the whole debate about who's better and which is better is pointless😆My point exactly from my 1st post here. Its a matter of what appeals to an individual. Doesn't make sense to compare the two.
