Udaan, a rage in 1980s. I recently watched it again, and fell in love with it yet again.

Oh grt!! Sarabhai vs sarabhai is my all time fav show n tu tu main main n miley jab hum tum as well.. Watched all its repeat on starone n star utsav.N I agree that recent trend in Indian show changed our views abt Indian shows. Thats what I wrote in other thread that quality of Indian soaps ruined with arrival of K factor, before that there were masterpieces from DD era n more.N in current scenario only youth channels r giving realistic shows.

Yes yes miley jab hum tum is my all time fav 😳 😆 I won't say it was realistic but the show is really addictive. Those who are looking for a light hearted romcom..it would be a good choice 😆 it has flaws but overall a lovable show

The old Ramayana was classic. And almost everyone I know loves sarabhai vs sarabhai. It has epic dialogues. And yes almost all my friends recommend rishta.com and mahi way.

These days however there's not a single show which appeals to me

I can't believe ppl remember the initial shows of star one - hotel Kingston, siddhanth, guns and roses etc etc. I thought I was the only one who missed them.

plus all the yashraj shows

sarabhai, dbh are like evergreen favourites

it is actually ironical - Indian TV made progressive, intelligent shows in the 90s and early 2000. with age we are becoming more regressive and substandard in terms of quality.

I dont know how many remember this 90s show on DD.. thoda sa aasmaan.. it was wonderful.. progressive by todays standards too... but it was done on dd in 90s.. i think DD had the best quality and progressive shows... the zee shows before star plus started the saas bahu trend were just a different kind of crap... all the shows were just full of EMAs...
Thoda sa aasmaan had nadira, deepti naval and mona ambegaonkar...it was directed by prakash jha

Yes, I remember the show. And, it's now available online on youtube.😊

In fact, several of the channels have now uploaded their older serials online. So, it's a good time for those of you who are really inclined to watch them again.
