Hey guys,

I managed to get hold of the recent JJR videos thanks to Shanu. Here are the updates, albeit four days late!😳

26th February

Highlights

Mahesh fights his case in front of the committee

They agree to give him his job back

Jiya thanks Apu – he comforts her

Barkha is jealous

Apu makes Jiya promise to help find the mystery girl

Update

Jiya is front of the committee and frantically points out mistakes in their accounts which show that they have not received full payments for their railway which is where everything went wrong and insists that Mahesh is not a thief. One of the men say that they need to organise a second meeting but a worried Jiya says that her father can't go through this again as she tries to revive an unconscious Mahesh. He finally regains consciousness and asks fir a few minutes to freshen up before he answers all their questions as this time he doesn't want to make a mistake. They agree to give him 10 minutes and 10 minutes only.

Jiya helps a coughing Mahesh out of the office who leaves her with Apu and Barkha as he goes to the bathroom. Apu asked her if everything went okay and a worried Jiya shakes her head in the negative saying that Mahesh is unwell and the committee is unready to hear anything. She then wipes her tears and says that she knows everything will be fine and her father will sort this problem out.

She suddenly hears violent coughing from the bathroom and asks Mahesh if he's okay. He replies that he is and will be out in a few minutes. Jiya goes back to looking worried and Apu puts a comforting hand on her shoulder and tells her that he is also sure everything will turn out fine. Barkha looks enviously at Apu's hand on Jiya's shoulder and clenches her fist.

Mahesh finally comes out and tells Jiya that they should go back in to the meeting otherwise the committee will find reasons to cancel it. Jiya helps Mahesh back in to the office as the Sabharwal women individually weep and pray to God that he should help Mahesh through this problem.

Jiya helps Mahesh to sit down in front of the committee who mutter amongst themselves about their time being wasted. Mahesh says that he is ready and both sides fight their case as Sadhana, Meetu and Dadi pray devotedly. Finally Mahesh ends by saying that if they wish then they can get the accounts checked in any way they wish and adds that it was all an accounting error. The committee say that they will have it confirmed and get back to him and Mahesh replies that of course, they would never trust someone like him who has been an employer of the company for 30 years and has given everything to it. He asks the committee never to raise a finger at anyone's integrity that like that again and Joya smiles proudly at her father.

Outside…

Apu is anxious and tells Barkha that he Mahesh is a nice man and he can't see al this happening. He gets up to leave but stops and sits back down. Barkha thinks something to herself before cracking a joke that Apu looks as if he's going to be a father for this first time and his wife is take to long to deliver. Apu gives a sarcastic laugh and Barkha tells him to come and have a cup of coffee with her while the meeting is going on.

Office…

Jiya continues to glance worriedly at a coughing Mahesh as the committee check the accounts before deciding on something amongst themselves.

RAD…

Kiran walks in to her cabin and apologises to Rohan for being late and tells him that Barkha has again bunked her class and gone of somewhere. She expresses her concern about what other students will think and the fact that Barkha is not taking her career seriously. Rohan tells her to relax and calms her down before they have a cute joking moment. But Kiran again becomes serious and asks Rohan if Barkha is a good dancer. Rohan agrees that she is and Kiran says that she wants her sister to be more than good and become so successful that she never ahs to face any uncertainties in her career like she [Kiran] did.

Office…

Apu and Barkha are talking and he compares her to Jiya saying that she's always so calm and does her work silently whilst Barkha is always ready for a fight. Barkha looks upset.

Committee meeting…

The Committee tells Mahesh and Jiay that after checking everything they've come to the conclusion that all the accusations against Mahesh were false and welcome him back to his job; adding that first he needs to complete some paperwork which the committee can not help with and inform him that he needs to contact Sailesh Mehta. Mahesh realises that they are talking about Naresh's dad.

Outside…

Barkha is walking of in a huff but Apu stops her and apologises saying that he was just joking. She ignores him and he tells her about how they will be huge stars and finally gets her to make up with him. They hug and Apu tells her that if he doesn't find his mystery girl in one month then he will make her his dance partner forever. Barkha smiles and says that she will try to make sure he never finds his mysterious girl in his whole life let alone in the next month. Apu gives her a look.

Just then Mahesh and Jiya exit the office and Barkha barrages them with questions. Apu tells her to relax and makes Mahehs sit down before bringing everyone coffee. Mahesh thanks Apu and smiles saying that whenever he's in trouble, God makes sure to send Apu to help him.

Barkha says to Apu that it's getting late and they should be heading back to RAD. Mahesh is surprised that they study there and tells Barkha that she shouldn't go there as it's a horrible place and besides, why take so much interest and dance and music. Barkha looks fed up and replies that everyone has their own likes and dislikes and sarcastically thanks him for the advice. Jiya looks uncomfortable and Apu tells Barkha they should go. Barkha remembers that she had to make a phone call and leaves.

Mahesh whispers to Jiya to stay away from that girl and asks her where she emt Barkha. Jiay hurriedly changes the subject and tells him that it's late and they should be heading home. Mahesh agrees and says he will just be back from the washroom. Jiya thanks Apu who replies that this is what friends are for and besides, he's helped her and she can also do the same for him. Jiya agrees but is shocked when he tells her to start looking for his mystery girl. She becomes anxious but gives in saying that she will help and they both shake hands as Barkha watches enviously.

27th February [Brief]

Kiran tries to talk to Barkha and says that the distance between them has increased.

Mahesh rings up Mehta who is all smiles and tells him that his wife and son Naresh are eager to see Jiya and he invites himself over to dinner.

Apu lands up at Jiya's house and demands to know when she'll be helping him to find his mystery girl. Jiya anxiously tries to get out it saying that he has Barkha as a dance partner.

Highlights:

Mehta and Mahesh fix Jiya's wedding to Naresh
Dadi is furious
Sadhana tries to change Mahesh's mind
Apu pesters Jiya to help him – cute AJ scene
Barkha watches enviously

Update:

An anxious Jiya finally manages to push Apu out of the house and shuts the door just as Mahesh enters the room and scolds Jiya for not bringing his glasses earlier. He angrily questions her as to what she's doing standing at the front door and tells her to go. Jiya hesitantly leaves.

Later…

Mehta is seated with his family at the dining table. Jiya comes in with the tea tray and Naresh [Euw – Gopu!] keeps starign at her and Mahesh instructs her to put the tray down on the table before she drops it on someone again. Jiya silently does so and Mehta comments that Jiya seems to have got 'smarter' since the last time he saw her and enquires about her job.

Mahesh hesitantly says that it's temporary and goes on to add that it was he who told her to get a job so that she could learnthe value of money etc. etc Dadi and Sadhana exchange glances but Dadi doesn't let the chance go and says that she also wishes that every woman in this futuristic world tries to get a job and stand on her own feet so that she can gain respect from those around her. Gopu; Urh I mean Naresh smiles and says that he likes independent women.

Mahesh smiles and Sadhana gushes to Dadi that Naresh speaks so well. Dadi doesn't look pleased. Naresh whispers to his dad that he wants to talk to Jiya alone and Mehta forwards the message to everyone else. Mahesh hesitantly agrees and tells and uncomfortable looking Jiya to take Naresh up to her bedroom. Dadi also agrees and signals something to Jiya who reluctantly goes with him.

Jiya's room…

Naresh asks her if she's okay and enquires about her job. Jiya nervously gives short replies and says that she's okay. Sensing her tension, Naresh apologises for Mehta not being able to help Mahesh out and adds that in front of his father, he [Naresh] is helpless. Jiya replies that it's okay and she knew that Mahesh would prove his integrity.

Downstairs…

Mehta sucks up to Mahesh and says that he always knew he was innocent and will surely help him out with the paperwork – after that's what friends are for. He calls Dadi 'mummyji' and says that like Mahesh is her son, he to is her son. Sadhana and Dadi exchange glances.

Jiya's room…

Naresh asks her how his shirt looks and goes on to say that it's the latest fashion. He tries making conversation and tells her that he has started to learn Salsa and gives a stunned Jiya a demonstration. Jiya starts laughing and Naresh smiles saying that this was what he wanted to see. He tells her that there is surely something in his heart for her.

Downstairs…

Mehta takes Mahesh to one side and in a rounded way tells him that the paperwork will only go through if Naresh and Jiya get married. Sadhana is shocked and Dadi looks as if she would like nothing better than to slap Mehta. Mahesh asks him about the case and Mehta replies that it will be completely finished. Mahesh immediately agrees to the wedding and gives Mithaii to Mehta. Dadi is shocked and tries to tell Mahesh to take Jiya's feelings in to consideration but Mahesh brushes her of saying that Jiya is immensely lucky to get a husband like Naresh. Sadhana looks worried.

Jiya's room…

Naresh and Jiya are standing at the window – Gopu starts admiring the stars and Moon saying that they must be looking down and thinking who made my beloved. Jiya is immensely confused and tries to work out what stars he is looking at.

He talks in riddles and tells her that there are two types of Dear – one is 'Deer' and the other is 'Dear' like she is his dear. Jiya is stunned and listens as he starts to explain what deer is. She cuts in and tells him that her Papa knows and she'll just ask him what it means. She runs of downstairs and Naresh follows her. Mehta and Mahesh are talking about the wedding – Naresh understands and smiles beut Jiya is immensely confused. The Mehta's leave after telling Mahesh to look after Jiya.

Later…

Dadi and Sadhana stop Mahesh and Dadi is furious with him, asking if he will really sell his daughter to save his job. Mahesh replies that he knows what is best for Daboo and warns them not to mention anything to her until a date is not fixed. He leaves and Dadi is livid. Sadhana tries to calm her down saying that Mahesh is angry at the moment and it's best to leave him alone. Dadi looks at her in disbelief and asks what sort of mother she is to stand and watch quietly, she encourages Sadhana to stand up against Mahesh and not let him ruin Jiya's life.

Sadhana agrees and walks in to her room to find Mahesh drinking. She hesitantly tries to talk to him but he interrupts her and tells her to get ice. Sadhana goes but Dadi pushes her back inside and she nervously tells Mahesh that what he is doing is wrong and he can't see Jiya like this for his own benefit.

Mahesh realises that Dadi sent Sadhana and furiously tells her to get one thing clear – whilst he is alive, he will make all the decisions in the house. He adds that it's lucky someone agreed to marry daboo and screams at her to get lost; muttering to himself that she ruined all the taste of alcohol.

RAD…

Press meet is going on for Rohan's film. He describes all the qualities that he is looking for in his lead characters. Apu hears him from outside and smiles to himself before he notices Jiya. He knocks on the glass to get her attention and signals to her to come outside. A perplexed Jiya shakes her head and signals to him that she can't come out. Kiran tells her to arrange for tea for everyone. Jiya nods and leaves.

Later…

Samar is practising his performance with Ishita but loses his step and Ishita falls. She asks him what's going on and Samar replies that he isn't in the mood today. Ishita notices Apu and wishes she could change her partner. Samar smiles and replies that she could try but won't find a better dancer than him. She's irritated and asks Apu for help with a step. Apu apologises saying that he is really busy and goes of looking for Jiya. Samar smirks and says that life is weird – he's after he, she's after Apu and Apu is after his mysterious girl. Ishita replies that he just had some important work with Jiya and Samar rubs it in that now even Jiya is more important than her.

Office…

Jiya is searching for a file when she sense Apu behind her. He asks her when she's planning to help him, Jiya says that she will but he should leave now as Kiran will be arriving any minute. She tries to leave but Apu grabs her hand. Jiya stops and shuts her eyes tightly, smiling to herself as Apu replies that he doesn't care and tells her she can't go back on her promise. He pretends to corner her against a shelf but instead takes out a file and flicks through it. Jiya admired him for a few seconds before slipping away – Apu notices and runs after her. Barkha watches this from a distance with immense jealousy.

Barkha is definitely jealous and is going to cause problems for Apu and Jiya!

Mahesh is irritating to the T!😡....Let's hope that if not Sadhana, then at least Dadi can stop him.😕
