Seriously, I am delighted that you liked this post so much. It has become one of my favourites among all my 107 (so far) episode analyses in the IF JA forum, and I am delighted when someone else likes it as much as I do. The material was so insubstantial that it was like fashioning something with gossamer. I was so relieved when it turned out well.

Ok, Mandy and Preeti,

Here is what I plan to do tomorrow, or if possible tonight itself.

I shall write a little explanatory note addressed to all those who are watching the re-run of Jodha Akbar, and add it to the post I wrote here for Episode 1, Sound and Fury. I shall then post it as a standalone one in the JA forum.

I shall then, at the same time, put up those for Episodes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8-10 as seven standalone threads. I will add that for Episodes 11 &12 ( I have to start at the beginning of the week if the biweekly system is to work smoothly) on Monday morning, again as a standalone thread in the main JA forum.

Let us see if the experiment works. Let us give it 2 weeks. If there is only the same readership as here, we can switch back, or stay there, for in either case, we will not lose anything. Also the access is from the live-links in my PMs, the list of which I shall expand to include any new readers.

While the discussions will all be in the threads in the main forum, if you could kindly keep page 1 of this thread updated with those links, it will be perfect.

No, Sri, you have forgotten the thread of my tribute to Rajat's Jalal which is frozen after 6 parts covering 65 episodes, the Rajat as No.1 thread and if I am not mistaken, the Rajat AT as well! Enough to turn one's grey cells, such as I have got left after allowing for age attrition, into scrambled eggs!😉

Let me simplify my end of the matter. Of the two threads I was doing, courtesy Mandy, the ZA one had two defects. One, being a continuous thread, comments on the earlier chapters got mixed up with those on the later episode analyses, and for me, it was difficult to keep track of them, locate them and respond to them, and at times even remember whether I had responded to them or not!

Now, with standalone threads for each episode, life will be far simpler for me in that respect.

The other is the limited readership in the ZA forum and the even more limited discussions. Now this is not a problem that can be easily fixed, but as several of you seemed to feel that things would be better in the main forum, with the possibility that new readers might be attracted, I chose that option and shifted all these 8 posts there. I will not be posting any more on this thread.

Now for Episodes 11-12, and for the biweekly posts to follow for 3 episodes each, I shall post them in the main forum as standalone threads, and PM all of you accordingly. You will not have to trace them from your posts. They will be there on the first few pages of the forum index for a while, and in any case, the earlier discussions on those 7 posts are here, and you know where to find this thread. From the 8th one, people seem to have started commenting on the standalone Revelation thread there, and I would request you to do the same, and I will respond there.

As for the new posts, I will be sending you the live links with my PMs. Also, Mandy will update the same links on page 1 of this thread.

As for my personal tribute thread, that stands frozen at 65 episodes in 6 parts. I am not going back there, for I am now doing full posts on those very episodes, not Rajat's Jalal-centric extracts from my old posts. all going well, I plan to continue this series of standalone posts till about
Episode 150.

As for the farewell tribute thread, Mandy will correct me if I am wrong, but only the last few pages are missing, due to young Anjali not having delivered her closing pages. She needs to be gingered up! About the others, like the Rajat AT, I have no idea.
