Guess the surprise on Zara Nachke Dikha

by Tellywatch News Desk

Aug 29, 2008, Mumbai

The Tez Talwars and the Meethi Churis are making their best attempt to match up to the soaring expectations and rising competition. After the last episode, the boys were left lagging behind by a large margin and their only saving grace now is an extraordinary performance against the girls. This 'Performance episode' being themed 'Shades of Love', offers some sweet and breathtaking moments.

In the 'Tashan round' the Tez Talwar Amit Tandon begins with 'Tere Naal Isqh Nibhana'. But much to his teams' dismay, an incident during his performance, gives another jolt to the boy's team. On the other hand, the Meethi Churi Karishma Tanna displays her perfect moves on 'San Sana San', walking away with the praises and admiration from the judges for her performance.

In the 'Hum Tum' round, Gaurav Chopra and Narayani Shatri, deliver an emotional act depicting a sad tale of love.

Taking the theme ahead in the 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' round are none other that the stars of 'C Kompany', Tusshar Kapoor and Raima Sen! The Tez Talwaars perform with their peppy steps on 'One Love'. The Meethi Churi's elucidate their romantic side by performing on 'Yeh Ishq Haye'.

Zara Nachke Dikha - every Monday and Tuesday @ 9.30 on Star One.

Chaitanya enjoying his dancing act

Says Chaitanya, "I like dancing and live it up to the fullest. As far as performance is concerned, ZND has lots of fun but stress as well due to my other commitments. I have to rush for my shootings helter skelter so life is so crammed up".

When asked about the other participants, he says, "Our mundas team gets along well. I tell you these guys are great to work with. They are very heartening and we share warm rapport with each other."

On rehearsals, he says, "I have to put in practice myself from 11 to 3 am because of my busy schedule."

Asked about the girls, he says, "We really try hard and leave no stone unturned but bat the end it's the judges who decide. No doubt these ladies are doing well but we will try our best to turn things around in the next episode."

All the best guys.

DANCE SHOW: Zara Nachke Dikha

Tusshar and Raima give C Kkompany to Tez Talwars and Meethi Churis

On Monday, September 1 at 9.30 pm IST on Star One

The battle intensifies between the boys' team and girls' team due to increasing expectations. This episode is on the theme of Shades Of Love with the boys working harder than ever to score against the girls.

The show begins with Amit Tandon performing to Tere Naal Ishq Nibhana. But sadly something occurs as he is performing to give another jolt to the boys. While on the other hand, Karishma Tanna moves perfectly to the music of San Sana San and gets a load of praises from the judges as they applaud her splendid performance.

The Hum Tum round sees the handsome Gaurav Chopra and the gorgeous Narayani Shastri deliver an emotional act as they depict a sad story of love. Not a dry eye to be seen among the judges, other team members and the audience after this performance.

Then comes the most awaited part of the evening as Tushar kapoor and Raima Sen groove during the Jhoom Barabar Jhoom round. The Tez Talwars dance to the tune of One Love and the Meethi Churis perform to Yeh Ishq Haye. Don't miss all this and more on this episode on Star One.

aurav Chopra: The emotional boy

He says, "It's all about giving your best shot which has to be delivered in a matter of minutes. It is not a straightforward task. But if all goes well it feels really good and it's a matter of pride."

He further adds, "It's never easy to perform and dance under so much pressure but having Narayani has made it easy and comfortable. She is not only a good friend but also a star performer. It's never too easy to control your moves and gestures. But we have really worked hard and got this done.

"And at last it was our judges who liked it and applauded us for the emotional act. We are now looking to do better in the forthcoming episodes."

MALAIKA NACHKE DIKHA!!
[25 Jun 2008]

Malaika Arora Khan, the sizzling hot item girl of bollywood, has been signed by Star One channel to act as a judge on its upcoming reality show 'Zara Nachke Dikha.'

The show will be sort of a gender war between boys and girls and will have no elimination process in it. Another novel thing about the show is that the celebrity judges will have the final authority on deciding the winner and public voting would have no say in it.

The seven participating females are all from the television soaps and include Maninee De, Narayani Shastri, Karishma Tanna, Mouni Roy, Jennifer Winget, Delnauz Paul and Rupali Ganguly. On the other hand, the gang of boys will have Manish Goel, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Bakhtyaar Irani, Ali Asgar, Vikas Sethi, Gaurav Chopra and Amit Tandon. Amit Pandya and Swini Khare are also there.

Karan Singh Grover and Shweta Gulati will be hosting the show while Malaika will share the judges' bench with Chunky Pandey.

Jennifer Winget's fan following rises-New Artcl

"I'm now preparing for my next act and I'm not so nervous because we girls are going very strong though the boys team is leading. But we know that through our consistency we can be back again," says Jennifer.

Further she says, "My Khuda Jaane act with Amit was liked by the audience and I am still getting fan mails for my lovable act. Even Ranbir Kapoor liked the act. Now also when I go out for shooting my co-actors praise my act with Amit. There was no hesitation for us because before this also I have worked with Amit."

On Manish Goel's controversy, he says, "I really don't want to comment on this because I'm not concerned with what is happening in the boy's team. It's a matter of concern for Captain Ali Bhai."

How are the judges on-screen and off-screen? "They are extremely warm and co-operative. They are not partial as both are very senior in their fields and know more than us. Further, even off-screen Malaika gives us dancing tips and suggestion as to what style would have been better so they are doing their part quite well."

Luckless Manish Goel

He says "I don't really know where it went erroneous but all I am going to say is, it's all about luck so may be I didn't have it. That's why such a thing happened to me.

For each and every performance we try our best but with no luck it all goes in vain. So now all we need is luck and that's it".

He also says, "At the very start of the show, practicing hard and getting dance steps right and also concentrating on expression has become our top most priority.

But the fact remains that at the end of it all we need is luck. All the boys are hard working and I think it will pay back, may be next time."

Amay Pandya: The kid performer

He says "I never skip my school because of my show, I always go to school, and then I mange my other commitments with like Nachke Dikha. He also adds that he is not pressurized to come for shooting or dance practice. It all depends on my schedule. Usually I do my dance practice on Saturday-Sunday and that's more than enough for me to perform for the show."

He continues, "I shoot for the show generally on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 3 pm to 8 pm depending on my schedule. And if needed sometimes I skip my class. Its great fun to work with the concept of boys vs girls and trying hard to pull down each other. The entire unit loves me a lot and also gives me tips about dancing."

On dancing, he says, "When I perform my only focus is on giving my 100 percent. I am sure boy's team will do well, pull up the score and go for a win over the opposition."

Q Why did you decide to judge Zara Nachke Dikha rather than the third season of Nach Baliye?
Zara Nach Ke Dikha is a new show and it is different. I had done two seasons of Nach Baliye and had my fun. It didn't seem exciting enough to do another season because I get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. Also around that time I was going to anchor Dhoom Macha De and hence had little time for another show.

Q How do you find anchoring?
It's great fun. I was one of the first MTV VJs and had a blast. I also had a great time hosting Dhoom Macha De. It was the first of its kind show with celebrity singers competing with each other.

QWhat do you like about Zara Nachke Dikha?
Concept and content — it's really exciting and different. The boys Vs girls competition has lot of fun and excitement besides action and drama. It is full of energy and competitive spirit.

Q Which team is better or has an edge over the other?
It would be unfair to either team to say that one is better than the other. I think both are very competitive teams and each one has its strengths and weaknesses.

Q How is Chunky Pandey as a co-judge?
He is good and has a flair for humour and comedy. We don't judge the show in a conventional way. We agree, disagree, argue and get angry. But our combination is great.

Q Too many theatrics are being seen between you and Chunky. Is it real or recreated?
It is both real and recreated. I won't deny that some of the drama is a part of the script. But we don't fight for the sake of fighting.

Q But both of you seem to disagree more with each other?
Sometimes. But then two individuals can't think alike. We agree and disagree but manage to compromise on certain things.

QHow exciting is the money on reality shows?
I would say it's quite rewarding. Reality shows offer both creativity and money.
