Consulting a lawyer but which lawyer? Won't their family lawyer tell his family about it? Can they trust a new lawyer with something like this? Abir knows his own mother will present Mishti as a murderer to get rid of her, Mishti's sister will help her in this

Abir did ask Mishti, if she wants to go to BM's house and Mishti said that she can't face herself, how will she face them?

I loved the conversation between Abir and Mishti yesterday too.

True about the lawyer, but he did manage to keep Kunal's divorce plans secret. This is a huge thing to trust someone with; however, there is such a thing as attorney-client privilege, right?

Meenu will use anything to get rid of Mishti, but her son is also embroiled in it (he is the one who got her out of that place). Of course, she can try to spin it another way, but Abir won't cooperate. Anyway, I agree that path is definitely risky. However, currently they are unprepared, and Meenu can do a lot more damage if she comes to know now.

And yes, it looks like Kuhu is her assistant in this. Kuhu's insecurities with respect to Mishti, the "advice" she's receiving from Jas, Meenu's manipulation - all these are reasons for her current behavior but the responsibility for what she is doing is all hers. If what Mishti did in nosing through her divorce papers was wrong, then what she is doing now is even worse because Mishti's intentions were not malicious.

Facing BM/BP or any family is different from talking to an impartial person right? So I'm not sure about that comparison.

Mishti's moral compass is amazing! When something is right or wrong, she doesn't let factors like family, friends, or even self come in the way of doing what is right. Abir knows this about her and admires it but also fears it in this particular case. In his fear of losing her, he tells her to forget the incident. This will not work for Mishti, and thank god, she managed to say that to him! Characters are consistent because Mishti feels this way regardless of who it is, be it Kunal/Kuhu/herself. Same for Abir, he wants to just ignore it, regardless of who it is.

Abir cannot face it when those he loves are in pain. As he says, Mishti is much stronger than him. His fear of losing Mishti though is clouding his mind even more. To face what comes next, Abir really needs a clear head because if Mishti tries to deal with this situation herself, it will get more messy. I love that girl, but her track record in this speaks for itself.

When he lets love guide his actions, I have no issues with what he does. Now he is letting fear guide his actions. But you cannot let fear choose your destiny. This is what Meenu and Kuhu do. For them it is not the fear of losing someone they love like it is for him. For Meenu, it is the fear of losing control, and for Kuhu it is the fear of being irrelevant, but it is still fear that guides their actions.

“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.” ~ Ambrose Redmoon

They will get there, I am sure. They are now on that path, and with both of them working together they will overcome what comes their way.

As I said I am not defending Abir but when I think about it, I don't know what is wrong or right, it's not as straightforward as talking to a lawyer because Mishbir are alone, They have enemies in their family only, Abir suggested they go to BM and BP, they could have helped with their family lawyer but Mishti couldn't face them so that door is closed.

It has to end and it will end with truth coming out, but it's just that I am not able to think what I would have done in a situation like this? So I am unable to say what Abir and Mishti should have done.
