I've been thinking for a while about who can best resolve (or at least help manage) the issues between Kuhu and Mishti. So who do you think would be best to do this, and why?

Premise here is that we want issues between them to be resolved 😊

I have so many thoughts on this on what might work and what would not, but I tend to ramble on and since I want other opinions, I'll just leave it as is to hear your thoughts.

Hi Daya

I connect a lot to the relationship of Mishti and Kuhu because my relationship with my own sister is somewhat similar. So that’s why I’m always interested in any conversation regarding them 🤓

Personally I feel like the only people that can solve it is themselves. Only they know what their issues with each other is. Both are hurt beyond repair. There have been many situations where Mishti and Kuhu have been pit against each other which have led to comparisons and insecurity.

I don’t know if there is a third person in the show right now who is not biased towards one. The bias would further damage things because ones feelings would be given more importance and the other disregarded.

The only person I can think of who is neutral is Maybe Ketki but she’s not really involved with them that much anymore. In the beginning there was scope because Ketki was their friend. But now I don’t know how she can mend the issues. Maybe Kuhu can say something like I wish you were my sister which would lead her to confide in Ketki about how insecure she was in the Maheshwari house etc. Ketki can then explain to Mishti how Kuhu has been feeling, and why she behaves in certain ways. Mishti would probably be more understanding if Ketki did it rather than Abir because Ketki is primarily neutral to both of them.

I’m thinking out loud here lol. I really like this discussion you brought up because I have been wondering for so long how they will fix the problems. One issue is not addressed and all of a sudden then another comes in. Let’s see what happens. I just hope for both sides to be well addressed.

Popped in to the forum after a long time to find this thread and I am so glad! Hopefully, this will finally be a calm thread with some nice discussion.

I agree with Richu! The problem can only be solved by the two who are involved in that mess. No third person can make you feel secure or heard or understood. They both need to talk it out. Until and unless, they understand each others' side, they can't understand what they are doing wrong to cause that pain because both of them are hurting.

Good point Richu. Yes, the people concerned can resolve it if they talk it out. But before that they have to get a point where they are ready to at least try to understand where the other is coming from right? I don't see that here. Sometimes having someone you trust say the same thing helps you understand the point better.

Maybe 2 people working together then?

Ketu is an interesting suggestion. Can't say I've thought of her, and she does like both and want them to get along. I will pay more attention to Ketu after reading some of your comments, but I have to say I haven't so far.

I know right? I'm wondering too. Based on some comments made, they may have the brothers fight or one of the couples break up. I've been hoping someone would talk to them or they would talk to someone who can help but that looks unlikely.

@italics - Totally! They've been doing this from the beginning. watched maybe the first almost 150 episodes in a span of a month or so and I was amazed at how fast-paced it was. And no time to recover or reflect on anything.

Yeah but there's so much history it looks a bit impossible to me that this will happen. Nobody seems to try to get to the root of the problem, and neither of them is interested in sharing. I know it's Meenu's plan to show the girls fighting, but I think a fight would be cathartic if it happens.

They can't handle this the way they did a guest entry because these characters are in the show to stay, so it would be interesting to see. I also wonder if what they had planned to show has now changed because of all this, and how.

That is true, both are not able to see each other’s perspective. They are only looking how they are feeling, which is natural as humans of course. If one person were able to sit them down and help them sort it out, it would be good.
there’s a scene during Jamnashtami where Kuhu wins the competition and she gives her winning prize to Ketki and says something like anything for my sister and hugs her. That scene always stood out to me because it showed the variation of her treatment of one relationship- that of a sister but with two different people(don’t know if this was a bit of a stretch but that’s what I made out of the scene)
She really adores Ketki and I wish they explored that relationship a bit further. It would’ve been parallel to her relationship with Mishti and why she accepts Ketki but failed to accept Mishti.

It all comes down to how that persons presence makes you feel. Mishti’s makes Kuhu feel insecure while Ketki’s presence is not negatively effecting her.

That’s why I suggested Ketki. And she’s also very loving and caring towards both of them and I adore her a lot so I have a little bias 😆

Both couples should not have rushed into this marriage. They have so much to figure out, they just rushed and got married and that is why they are having so many problems already, so I won’t be surprised if one ends up in a breakup. I don’t know if they will show brothers drifting.. even though that would be interesting- maybe that will be the final straw and Meenu will stop all her plans of action and try to mend her ways? 😹or just my wishful thinking? Hehe.

I can’t tell you how frustrated I get watching this show sometimes because certain things are never dealt with!!! There have been scope for so many nice tracks but never fully developed.

Hi,

Can't say if they can help resolve issues but Parul and Abir can be the voice of reason here. Maybe even Varsha though now that both Mishti and Kuhu are in their sasuraal and she doesn't know everything that conspired between the sisters, she might not be brought into the picture.

I had been really hoping that someday Abir would have shared with Mishti that how Kuhu was angry at him and had asked him to not to hurt Mishti, not just once but twice or thrice I believe, when the track about Nishant and Mishti's wedding was going on.

I really think Abir can make Mishti understand in a better about why his approach towards Kuhu has been the way it is. Likewise Parul has that sensitivity that can work wonders, if only she is allowed to address the woes and help.

Both Kuhu and Mishti need people who instead of fuelling their misunderstandings and insecurities, genuinely hear them out. Like in the last episode that aired BM heard Mishti and then calmly made her understand. The family members need to look at the issues between the sisters with a lot more seriousness.

To be honest, I watch and re-watch the jamnashtami episodes for MishBir, but in the process did see that there were so many different shades of Kuhu shown in those episodes.

@italics - shows 😆

@bold - Why do you say both?

As for Meenu stopping her planning - don't wish for that coz then the show will end 🤣 Like right now, I can't figure out what she wants to achieve having the sisters fight. I mean, everyone is already aware they don't get along, so if they fight what does she expect will happen? If the brothers fight and/or the family splits, she can blame Mishti but the family is still split right? Does she really want that? I can't really imagine she thinks Abir will suddenly realize after Kuhu and Mishti fight that she was right all along and divorce Mishti. So what's the plan here? I hope there's something more like maybe a little taste for Kunal because she mentioned he would regret it when he took Abir's side or something planned for Parul or something else...I'm overthinking, but I would enjoy it more if she actually has a plan on where she's going with this.

Very true, sometimes people in the ATs have come up with such interesting storylines. At least we get to read and enjoy those 😊

Yes Parul would be great if she can do a nice workaround BB. She likes them both and wants both couples to be happy. She's trying, but is being clearly warned off. Also, she's already in BB's radar. Target all set, especially after the big reveal. She may not find the time focus on others if she's fielding the bombs BB throws her way.

Abir also would be great, and he's trying. But he's also focused on BB at the moment, so he might only see their issues from that angle, so I'm not sure.

You're right, if only they would talk! So many things still unknown to each other and that is causing most of the issues. I hope they come back with a nice heart-to-heart conversation. We've been waiting for that for so long.

Absolutely agree. Both of them need to be heard and not told to just shut up (Kuhu) or put up (Mishti).

I had hoped Kuhu would talk to Varsha but that hasn't happened. I don't see the Varsha anymore that I used to see - she was so attentive to Kuhu before, now she knows her daughter has been through so much in the last few months, why hasn't she asked her how she coped? How she's feeling now? Anyway, unless she changes the way she approaches Kuhu, I'm not sure she'll have much luck getting through there.

Both because there was so much Abir and Mishti should’ve talked about before their wedding. I may be alone in this and that’s okay too but I felt like everything was so fast. None of their issues were resolved, they never had a proper conversation about their breakup. Mishti and Abir hiding things from each other is a big problem in their relationship even though I know they say it’s to protect each other. It doesn’t do anything but damage their relationship when truth comes out. And they keep doing exactly that even after marriage😂

Kunal and Kuhu because Kunal was forgiven way too easily and I just didn’t get it. They should’ve at least just dated or stayed friends for a while before remarrying like that. I know divorce was on the cards but they could’ve done a #timeout and just gave some time to figure things out. They both agreed the first marriage was not a real one. Again with my wishful thinking.

Lol you may be right I’m on a mission to end this show by getting rid of all the problems.

Well her main goal seems to be to show that Mishti is not able to keep her family together. The one thing that Mishti fears also is that she will break the family apart, so I guess they are aiming for something like that.

Exactly 😹 I don’t get why would Meenu even think for a second that Abir will divorce Mishti? She knows Abir pretty well, she knows he will only do what he thinks is right. He will move out if things get bad in the house.

From the pills dream sequence she had, she was trying to prove that both the girls are not fit to be bahus of her house. But since they are already bahus why is she still adamant? Yeah I don’t get it either, the more I think about it the more empty my brain gets. She’s too smart for the likes of me it seems😂

P.S: It’s very late here and these are my late night ramblings, please excuse the nonsense
