Hope you're all coping well in this quarantine period. It's been a long time since we all had full fledged discussions on a specific topic, hence the topic subject. Since we all have time on our hands, what say we start a discussion??

The KuKu AT has been abuzz with discussion on Kunal's redemption in Kuhu's case. I just saw this VM (because YRHPK fandom has some amazingly talented people) and thought this basically summed up the KuKu's 1st marriage pretty well.

So, the topic of discussion I would like to propose is: Do you think Kunal should have been so easily forgiven? Do you think the apologies he has made to Kuhu were enough for the amount of hurt and pain that she went through? Does Kunal even love Kuhu?

These VM makers are so talented.. 👍🏼If u watch these scenes filtering all the loud mouth dialogues, that Kuhu utters from time to time, u get such a wonderful recipe of an angst filled love story.... par yeh ek acha scene daalte hain aur uske baad paanch non sensical scenes daalte hain.. It's like u give good scenes and then deliberately put efforts to destroy the effect of it.... Cleanse the good memories from the minds of the viewers and replace with negativity.. Why would a writer do that to their own characters ?😲.. Goes beyond my small brain's thinking capability.🤓. I mean look at this VM, its just a compilation of few selected emotional scenes... The creator must have not added anything on his/her own.. just few right scenes and the impact is beautiful.. nyway my blabbering won't put any sense in the mind of the makers .. I am just saying for the sake of saying..😆

as for Kunal's redemption.. Does Kuhu herself want it.. She anyway accepted him.. 🤪 toh hume bhi phir quarantine mein ludo khelna chahiye.. Zyada soch ke kya fayada...😆

im just explaining kunaal...

1) he went to kuhu in a lady get up tough it is really out a way for kunal but he did it and spoke to kuhu and undertsood her but kuhu never knows it was kunal...

2)kunal is the man who is all about mishti ki wajah se took blame on him for his marriage with kuhu and never wanted divorce and he really wanted her for himself...

3)proposed re marriage to kuhu and want to give her dream day back... the person for whom marriage is responsibility or deal...

4) asking mandap from mishti... tough its a demand from kuhu but he took the responsibility from her and asked msihti...

5)did marriage before mishbir even tough he loves hi bahi but gave in kuhu...

6)shouting at each and every person who is coming in between their talk after marriage...

7)burning divorce papers and surrounding himself to kuhu to learn everything from her...

8)taking help and suggestions from abir and next mrng checking msg as it from kuhu...

9)planned a trip for only them with her leaving his work...

10)helped kuhu in leaving mishbir and did pooja too which he never did in life..

11)never said a word to kuhu for asking holika dahan rights from her maa...

12)supported kuhu with her code language and made her smile with his tickles and kisses...

13)said to kuhu y he spoke to mishti and asked helped from her to manofy meenu...

14)the kunal who ddint bother about kuhu's wounds or pain noticing the small wound and want to help her...

15)skipped meeting and planned a resort and spa for his wife....

16) took the room when he knows it even wont be good by leaving mishbir like that but did it for kuhu...

17) spent some romantic moments with his wife and yes his wife took the first step...

18)haq jatana on his wife and said he want to go with her and her only...

kunal is making efforts , learning things, accepting mistakes, never want mishti or abir to come in between them... but kuhu herself bringing them but he is understanding her but i dont know what she even wants...

im not saying kuhu kuch nahi kiya... she did much for kunal but even kunal is doing so much for her...

I don't know if they're ruining characters or anything. I think they're just showing the reality. Sometimes, our insecurities take over our whole being and we are unable to escape our own self created darkness. Sach kahun to it kind of makes me excited to see Kuhu's character arc because the next step in her story will have to be conquering the darkness.

Her whole life has been governed by her insecurities, first when she came to the Maheshwari house and then when Mishti arrived. Her whole social media persona is the outcome of trying to find love when her family was trying to make Mishti's transition easier, kind of like when an older kid starts behaviour after their younger sibling is born. They will try to divert attention towards themselves by any means possible and when that doesn't work, they'll look for acceptance elsewhere. The difference here is that kids can be made to understand over the years and they forget after a while but in her case, everything happened in teenage, when a person is already dealing with so much change so that insecurity and the feelings of being ignored stuck around. I feel the writers have done a great job on each character. They have actually thought of the complete background. We're just not used to seeing such detailed, layered and flawed characters on ITV. The only time I have felt them ruin her character is when they put Mishti and Kuhu in parallel situations and try to portray Kuhu as a shallow person. That annoys me. Why do they need to unnecessarily compare these two when there is absolutely no need for it in the story?? Why can't I like both characters??

Maine jaan bhooj ke debatable topic choose kiya. Consider me as the debate moderator, if you will, or a spectator. I just want to know the general consensus here and what do people think.

So, counter questions:

Kunal is definitely making efforts and that's undeniable but what about the times when he shuts her up? It irks me so much everytime he tries to make her stop speaking, be it with his cute antics like the tickling, cheek kiss or goes to sleep on the couch, because he had promised her during the hospital scene that he will never shut her up.

Also, what is with insulting her infront of the whole family and dragging their fight out in the open by telling her to not give him coffee?? Chup chaap le lo and get it done with. He could have given her the silent treatment but to keep disclosing their dirty laundry in front of the family so does not make sense to me.

I am in love with this insta account. She makes beautiful VMs of KuKu and Kuhu. Thank you for sharing it

And regarding your questions, I have already written a few novels on Kunal's treatment of Kuhu in the KuKu AT, so I won't bore you with it again. Although I will say this, writers are wasting the potential of Kunal's character and Rtivik's talent with their lazy writing.

promises break kar ne ke liye ho hote hain show mein...

and making kuhu silent, these happens between every couple and this is a good way too... im not saying he shouldnt listen but some times its good to make other attempts to get our loved one out of it... ,like kuhu humma humma to distract kunal , when kuhu knows how much work is imp for kunal...

coming to showing infront of family it happens, even kuhu did the same at time of noddles but in subtle way... for me kunal showing anger on her, its may not be in good in public but i can understand a hubby-wifey relation will be like this only... kuhu might not show her anger in public but kunal shows, this shows the character variance in them...

even kuhu shputed at kunal at MAH house for interfering him in nishmish shaadi and saying how can u say about relations as she in false relationship with kunal but she shouted... so it happens and we take leniance infrontof our own family than our own families...

silent treatment was never kunal type... jo bhi hain saamne hain...
