Her breath caught in her throat "Abir, someone will see and-" she was cut off when he span her around so she was now facing him, his large hand firm on her hip, thumb rubbing soothing circles as she tried to calm her erratic heart.
"Then let them" his voice was thick with emotion "Now I finally have you, I want everyone to know".
Her cheeks warmed, now matching the dark velvet of her dress "Abir" she clicked her tongue "Behave".
"Behaving never got me anything good" he ran his fingers down her arm "Being bad on the other hand" he entwined his fingers with hers "Got me you".
Mishti couldn't help but smile, resting her cheek on his chest she allowed him to lift her slightly so her bare feet rested atop his freshly polished shoes, whenever she was with him she felt weightless, like she was floating, as free as a bird, he was her wings- helping her soar through the sky.
His stubble tickled her cheek when he brushed his face against hers, tipping her chin up, he turned his head to the side "I've wanted to kiss you for so very long, somedays it was all I could think about".
Her eyes fluttered shut, a small moan escaping her lips only to be swallowed by his when his mouth met hers, she had expected fireworks, a tingling feeling that left her enthralled, but all she felt was calm, because when his lips touched hers, she knew she was exactly where she needed to be, she knew she was home.
Abir pulled away, breathless as he rest his forehead against hers "The things you do to me Mishti" he twirled a strand of her hair around his finger "I can't get enough of you".
"Abir" Mishti giggled "Stop it".
