Hi guys. Sorry being late. Actually I was caught up in some assignments. Please do read and comment. Also tell me about the areas you liked or didnot like.
I want to mention something. My bestie is also a fan of the show. She helped me a lot in writing this. She encouraged me very much. Today is her birthday. So I want to dedicate this one to her.
Part 6: Friends?
Mishti: It is very nice. You know first time I read it I bursted into tears. You should really try it. You can also try “If you could see me now.” It is also wonderful. (She was continuously speaking without realising that Abir was lost in his thoughts)
Abir: Mishti…….
Mishti: Ye..Yes
Abir(forwarding his hand): Will you be my friend?
Mishti: Actually…
Abir took back his hands on seeing Mishti’s expression.
Abir: It’s ok. If you don’t want you don’t have to.
Mishti: You know Abir you are very sweet. I would love to be your friend.
Abir(again extending his hands): So friends?
Mishti(Joining her hand to his): Friends.
Abir was a person who could do anything and everything for the ones he cared for. And he really cared for his friends. Mishti never regretted being friends with him. He was the friend everyone needs. He was always ready to help them in studies and all the other activities. Moreover he had the amazing ability of making others smile which he did very often. Forget the students even the teachers were also fond of Abir. He was loved by almost everyone in the school.
Mishti was glad to have Abir as a friend. He seemed to be “Antaryami”.Always knew when to talk to her and when not to talk to her.He always found words to comfort her and make her smile when others behaved rudely. He is the only good thing apart from Badi ma and Bade papa here in Rajkot. But it still took time for her to trust him completely. What was the guarantee that he will not leave her alone when she needed him the most. Betrayal and abandonment were things she hated the most and she feared the most. She had learnt a lesson from life. Not to mix too much with anyone, not to connect with anyone as it gives the other person the chance to betray you and hurt you. If you don’t keep your heart vulnerable then others can’t hurt you. Others can break your heart only if you allow them to. Hence she never wanted to take the chance. She talked to Abir, laughed with him but not to much. She still needed the time to know him completely.
One day Abir was roaming in the corridor of the second floor in the recess. The corridor was in chaos. Junior students were running from here and there, the senior girls roamed in groups chatting along the way. There were huge crowds outside the washrooms where people were discussing everything from the school syllabus to the latest movies and so on. Recess was the only time for old friends, who were separated in different sections, to meet and talk. The teachers were trying to manage the situation but it was simply unmanageable. The situation however was completely opposite during the school hours when there was pin drop silence everywhere.
Abir looked down to the children’s park area. It was for the children but sometimes the senior students also went there during resess. Mishti was sitting there in a swing. He could see her back. It seemed that she was looking at the kindergarden students getting dispersed. “What is she doing there? She is again being the Strange Mishti.” Abir spoke to himself. He decided to go to her.
Mishti: Why? Why did you leave me alone Daddy? See these cuties. They are so happy to go home holding hands of there fathers. Why don’t you too come to take me home with you. We will go holding hands and mamma will be waiting for us just like before. Everything was so perfect. Grandpa, Grandma, uncle, aunty, Naksh bhaiya, Naira di, you, mamma and me. We were the perfect family. You broke my perfect family. Why did you do that? Because of you I also lost my Naksh bhaiya, Gayu di, Naira di and Kartik bhaiya. I didn’t have to lose my friends back n Udaipur. Please come and take me with you to my home. Please Daddy, please (She starts crying).
In the meanwhile Abir reaches there and hears Mishti from behind. He gently comes near her and places his hand at her back shoulder. Mishti gets shocked at this sudden action.
Abir (saying in the softest tone possible): Mishti…
Mishti (turning around): Yes.
Abir: Why are you crying?
Mishti (still sobbing): Sorry Abir. But can you pleeeeease leave me alone. Please.
Abir: Okay…But first take this (Taking out a couple of tissue papers from his pocket)
Mishti: What’s this?
Abir: Tissues. You’ll need them na. If you are feeling very sad cry your heart out. And then wip off the tears with these. After that let’s go to the canteen. Ok (saying so he went towards the end of the stairs and sat on the last one)
Mishti: Strange guy.
Saying so she wips her tears and laughs. She goes and sits beside Abir.
Abir: Arre! Rona hogaya? Accha hai. Chalo let’s go to canteen. Aaj ka treat meri tarafse.
Mishti: Stop talking in vernacular. And I will pay for the lunch.
Abir: Oye Miss Rules follow karne vali. You know rules are made for being broken. By the way you know you are looking like a crying baby.
Mishti: Thank you(Sweetly)
Abir: For making fun of you?
Mishti: No. For stopping my tears. You are really sweet.
Abir: Ha woh toh mai hoo hi.
Mishti: Again vernacular.
Abir: Chodo na. By the way will you mind if I ask why were you crying? (seeing Mishti’s expressions changing he quickly says) Forget it. Wip off your tears and wash your face.(pointing towards the water tap beside the canteen)
Mishti doesn’t reply and goes to wash her face.
Abir(to himself): Yeh kya kiya. Uska mood thik ho raha tha aur firse kharap kardiya.
Mishti came back.
Abir: Hogaya? Abh chale? Pet mein chuhe football khel rahe hai.
Mishti: Ok chalo. Tumne mera mood thik kiya hai. Toh main bhi tumhara mood achha karungi. Ice cream will do?
Abir: Zaroor. Anyways I did not do anything. I just gave you tissue papers. You only stopped crying.
Mishti: Yeah. But you know someone said that everybody should have someone in his life who doesn’t stop them from crying but rather offers them tissues.
Abir: Mishti. Not again. Bohot bhuk lagi hai. Let’s fill our tummys them you’ll give me a plate full of philosophy. Ok.
He starts laughing. Mishti makes an irritated face.
Abir: Ok. Sorry. Sorry.
Mishti: Oye apna sorry apne pas rakho. Mujhe bhook lagi hai.Canteen chalte hai.
Abir: Areeeee tumne rules tode. You are improving. Varna tum toh Miss Maneater banne ki perfect candidate thi.
Mishti: It’s not Maneater idiot. It’s monitor.
Abir: Same thing. Maneater and moniter dono hi jaan ke dushman hai. By the way you read so many book you don’t know the fact that you should always smile.
Mishti: Why?
Abir: Because it takes less muscles to smile than to frown.Extra takleef kyu dena muscles ko? Toh hamesha smile karna samjhi?
Mishti: Now who is talking philosophical?
Abir: Philosophy nahi science hai.
Mishti: Again vernacular.
Abir: Ok Miss Sweety. I will not speak in vernacular again.
Mishti: Miss Sweety?
Abir: You only said that don’t speak in vernacular. Mishti is also a Hindi word so I translated it to Sweety.
Mishti made a ‘seriously’ type of face and then started laughing. They both walked towards the canteen.
Years after Mishti would look back at the time. It is truly said that words are forgotten but actions are not. That small gesture from him gave her the comfort she needed the most. It stopped her tears and made her believe that she too was loved and cared for. It was the moment she realised not every person is bad. It was the moment she understood some could be trusted. It was the moment an understanding was formed. It was the moment when a beautiful friendship was formed. It was the moment a journey had begun which grew from friends to besties, besties to lovers, from lovers to life partners and from life partners to soulmates. It was probably the moment she was beginning to fall in love. In love till eternity.
Thanks for reading

Hey Asmi! This was so cute! ❤️
In the show we witnessed Abir and Mishti becoming friends as adults. But if they would have met in childhood, this would have been their version of friendship! Their banters are adorable! Please continue!
Thanks. Actually I am currently in this age group so I witness these kind of things almost every day which makes writing this one easy.Lovely update

Thanks. Friends do matter a lot to everyone especially to teens. And Abir is definitely a friend every single person wants. And friends do have banters like that. Teasing each other for petty things, calling the class monitor maneater and correcting each other for speaking in vernaculars are some very common things in our life.Originally posted by: socioboss9797

Hey dots I would say don't end this story here. Like give this one a proper closure and then probably write the other one on the side. It's totally your call though if you feel that while writing this your ideas aren't flowing naturally then write the other one and come back to this. But people here are willing to wait and they do read your work so don't worry too much okay🤗

Friendship day update
Ok. This is not an update. More like a sneakpeak. I wanted to write something on Friendship day but couldn't due to my upcoming exams. I will try to update as soon as possible. So here we go
“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”
– Walter Winchell
The Friendship day approached near. Everyone had a friendship band to give. Friends are afterall the ones who tolerate all their non sense the whole year. Even the teachers loved this day in their way. They wanted to organise an event for this day. Everybody had to name a special friend of their and speak about how life is with him/her and what would happen if they were not there. A story writing competition was also organised. The topic was Friendship and its importance. All were confused about whom to speak and write as most had many friends. But Mishti knew what she would do. Will this friendship day bring out a new Mishti? Will this friendship day bring her closer to Abir? What was Mishti's special surprise for Abir?
I am in need of ideas so please comment snd let me know your ideas.
