I agree that TRPs may be an inaccurate measure of a show’s viewership as it is based on extrapolation. That is you take 3000s households and mimic the data for 300000 households (example sake).

Unfortunately BARC is the best bet we have for viewership measurement and is accepted by TV fraternity. Our opinion is not going to change this fact that the entire industry is okay with BARC system.

All I am saying is that we can’t simply say it is being manipulated without any proof. Just because some shows of a particular production house are working, doesn’t mean they are paying for TRPs.

If you make such a claim, then please give me some hard proof. Not some news articles. Proof of such transactions.

When, where have I made any such claim?? Data is skewed and manipulated and TRAI/ BARC say that. I have already given you AMPLE proof of that, that it IS manipulated.

It’s been a little over two years since BARC India announced its much-awaited digital measurement service – Ekam – in April 2017. However, the independent third-party digital measurement service is yet to see the light of day.

Nope, dont agree. That same thing is there in the TRAI paper too, so quote that instd. and you are exactly telling me what I am telling you. TV TRP system is rot as of now. RPD will be more accurate but its has not been rolled out yet.

I clearly told that when the entire TV industry is still going by BARC data, that could only mean that there hasn’t been any concrete proof to indicate your claims.

Even your fav show’s producer Rajan Shahi changes his tracks based on data provided by BARC.
