Abhinav was also a cameo at first. But then he became the next FL's father. So it will all depends on trp and how audience accepts the new guy in Abhira's life.

Udar anshuman abhira ki wedding prep chal rahi hogi. Mostly maira will talk to anshuman ke usko uski mumma chahiye & how much she misses her. Anshuman apni jaan bachake bhagega

and Yes, he is a cameo, but so was Abhinav, that does not mean that they cannot be shipped... In DKP world, depending on trp, cameos can be extended... like Abhinav here and Maya in Anupamaa... But I have a strong feeling AbhiAnsh will be here for longer!
