Behan hain Teri. Ladki acchi ho ya na ho. Matlab agar perfect insaan nehi hui to tu Behan nehi manega? His mindset is still of a 6 year old. Same jealousy and insensitivity. Does he not realize ke she is Abhinav, his Papa's only nishani. His blood. Abhinav gave his everything to abhir and that's how he is treating abhira? Usko ruhi pe bharosa hain jisse woh bas 6 saal ke umar main mila tha woh bhi sirf kuch month ke liye. Aur uski maa ne abhira ko 21 saal tak. He still believes ruhi soooo blindly? Maybe that's birla blood talking. The way he break the baby news to abhira I thought okay he hates abhira. Phir aise Armaan ko push kiya, aise behave karna jaise he cares for his sister? Who is even writing his character?

I completely agree with this point. Abhir shouldn’t need proof to support his sister—it should come naturally because she’s his sister. If Abhira is acting like she had no idea about the baby exchange, it’s because she genuinely didn’t. No one could fake such a reaction, including fainting after the revelation. It's strange how he trusts and supports only one sister when he should find a middle ground. Family bonds should be built on trust, empathy, and unconditional support, not contingent on arbitrary standards of morality or perfection.

While he doesn't know Abhira, he remembers the 6 year old Ruhi & they do have a connection despite everything that happened between them years ago....It's not like Abhir doesn't feel a connection with Abhira, it's certainly there but like he said he is in a confused state where he is trying to make sense of things.

He doesn't like Armaan from the beginning so that is what pushed him apart from Ruhi's phonecall, his own trauma of how his mom was kicked out of the house too & the fact that he himself had gone through a traumatic experience in regards to his parents which is something he did not want baby Daksh to go through...All these things coupled with Abhir's own anger issues & impulsive attitude is what pushed him to break the news to Abhira in the way he did!

What he did was not wrong at all, the way was definitely harsh.

Abhir as of now is grappling with his own condition and circumstances...Ideally, he should form a bond with Abhira while having a soft spot for Ruhi. He can be the common point of connect between the two sisters.

No clue what the writers have in mind though. But personally, I get his motivations and actions.

Y not the other way soft spot for ab and bond with ru ..

Ab has ar ro chorus gorillas

Ru has no one

Maybe one he knows about right now he only knows ru and is confused about ab ..who married ar after his mom died .

He has no bond ..just coz she is biological half sibling nah ..ru is his double cousin ..chachu kid plus masi kid plus old bond

Some peep here I guess have no experience with joint fam ..in joint fam when u live together u don't think of them as cousin but siblings

I myself had a great bond with my oldest bro..he was like our mentor, our savior who used to teach us maths , I would support him blind over even my younger siblings...

My younger sis is still more close to my bade pas second son more than our biological elder brother whom she has lot of kat phat with

Let's be honest all who have multiple siblings wether we admit or not we are more biased towards one

I am fully biased towards my older bro and was biased towards bade papa oldest son whom we lost in covid

It remains me of some novels, in which one person is suppose of support the other irrespective of right and wrong, just because the person or their parents did something good to the other.

About support, we can't accept to believe our own bio siblings to support us without any sense of judgment. Here abhir is just a half sibling to abhira. In case of truth of the kid, Abhir did nothing wrong, Nurse told him Armaan swapped the baby, he told it to both families and Armaan accepted it. Only thing that he failed is he doesn't know the involvement of Rohit in the mess.

About the correct time, no time will be correct as the mess already happened. Abhira and ruhi are bound to face this.

Exactly Abhir should just support Abheera even if it is wrong just because she is that abheeknav daughter ..Abhir just corrected that mess which happened due to rohit n armaan..Ruhi went through hell but no-one cared about her emotions then especially since she was weak both mentally n physically but abheera was both mentally n physically fine now so konsa time ata usko sach batane ka if not today ?

I'm not saying I'm not giving Abhir the benefit of the doubt—because I am. I understand that he's new to all this. After years of being on his own, he suddenly has two sisters and an extended family. That’s a lot to take in, and it’s bound to be overwhelming. But the way he handled the situation, with the whole dhol drama, was completely unnecessary. He could have approached it in a more mature way—had an honest conversation, acted like an adult. Instead, he chose to create a scene and thinks that Abhira is teaming up with Armaan.

I may not come from a joint family myself, but I understand the idea of cousins being like siblings. However, that still doesn’t excuse his behavior. This isn’t a minor issue like sneaking into a sibling’s room or breaking their favorite toy. This is about a human baby, a woman who has raised that baby since birth, and the biological mother of the child. It’s a serious, emotional matter that required sensitivity and understanding—not the unnecessary theatrics Abhir brought to it.

Even without the theatrics, this would still be the same situation. Mandir ho ya ghar, it is still a huge deal for both mothers. But from his pov, Ruhi was abt to commit suicide becos of the poddar misogyny. He stopped her and becos he knew the truth, he came straight to mandir with her. His band baja was more for the poddars and Armaan. Abhira however the situation is still considered a victim by him. But his focus is on Daksh and his identity crisis given his own personal situation. Abhir was not insensitive to Abhira or Ruhi. Unlike Armaan, he seems to care and focus on permanent solutions and fixing instead of temporary ones..!

Wholeheartedly agree with you, @TM

Star plus loves to make their leads be miserable and mistreated by everyone that’s the only explanation for this kind of writing for him. Otherwise even a stranger would be more sensible and sensitive than making a horrible scene like thatsmiley44

We'll see about that when he ends up in a similar situation. As the Kiara-Abhir-Charu love triangle is coming up.
