Shadows of Love and Betrayal
Abhir stood at the mandap, his heart pounding, waiting for Charu. But she never came.
Instead, a note—crumpled, tear-stained—was delivered to his trembling hands. Forgive me, Abhir. I can’t.
She was gone.
Rage burned through him. Within hours, Kiara stood where Charu should have been, and in a blind storm of betrayal and heartbreak, Abhir let himself be bound to a woman he never loved.
But love doesn’t die. It lingers, festers, consumes.
When Charu returned, he confronted her, his voice laced with raw pain. "Don't you still love me?"
Her eyes glistened, but she steeled herself. "We were never meant to be, Abhir."
He scoffed. "Liar."
She turned away, but every stolen glance, every accidental touch burned through her defenses. She fought it, denied it, but love clawed its way back.
One evening, when the weight of their unspoken emotions became unbearable, she broke. His name slipped from her lips in a whisper, and he was on her in an instant. Their lips collided, no longer restrained by the shackles of duty or betrayal. His hands gripped her waist, pulling her against him, as if he could erase the years of distance in a single breath.
It started with hesitation—stolen kisses in the dark, fleeting touches that ended too soon. But soon, hesitation turned to hunger. Their love became reckless, desperate, consuming. They found solace in hidden rooms, in midnight encounters where she surrendered to the fire she once denied.
But passion has consequences.
Charu’s hands trembled when she told him the truth. “I’m pregnant, Abhir.”
The Poddars erupted. The Goenkas raged. Kiara shattered.
But amidst the wreckage, a baby girl was born.
And when the families refused her, Abhira stepped forward, holding the child close. “If no one else will love her, I will.”
Because love, no matter how forbidden, always finds a way to survive.
