He may not have been there at the start but he loved him equally (no need to get into why he wasn’t around — that’s been discussed already in many older posts...). And as per the court, Abhir’s surname was changed to Birla, so how can it suddenly be Sharma on his passport????.? There’s no logic in that.

Even though Abhinav was a big part of Abhir's life, past can’t be twisted like that. There’s a reason it’s called the past or history — it’s what shapes everything. In real life, if a child has two parents, both are acknowledged for their role, not erased....The story shouldn’t manipulated just because of personal preferences or dislikes.

They had the option to create a parallel storyline, forget it, continue with Abhira sharma as legacy kid with Akshara and Abhinav as the parents. But with Abhir, keep it real. He is Abhir Birla. It doesn’t matter that Abhimanyu is Akshara’s ex or that Abhir loved Abhinav as a father figure. The truth is, Abhir loved both of them we have seen it in the episodes and the story should reflect that, keeping the narrative grounded in reality.

My whole point here is , YRKKH just doesn’t have the quality story it used to. It’s so illogical now, and they keep twisting things to make what’s illegal seem legal just to push the plot forward. It feels like they’re just adding drama without thinking it through and it’s hard to enjoy when nothing really adds up. The whole show has becoming harder to follow with all the forced twists.

Dkp is showing rohith struggling to get his kid back from armaan and meanwhile promoting how they deprived abhimanyu from being father of his own son. In a way they are promoting both criminals and saying it's okay to steal kids or erase parents name. 🤷‍♀️

Male leads are not so important in yrkkh.

Naitik:

- literally vanished into thin year, Naira was declared dead during Goa leap, then came back and later actually died after Akshara's birth. But Naitik did not once visit. Hell he loved his princess Naira to the moon and back, re-lived his son's missed childhood (coma track) through his daughter. Even when Naira died, I don't think she remembered Naitik in the recall sequence during her fall from cliff. Singhania's were sidelined after Naira's death and Sirat's entry. No funeral mentions of Naitik.

Kartik:

- Though he died in plane crash, no funeral was shown. His own daughters were so traumatized with Sirat's death that they rarely talked about his and Naira's passing. Occasionally they missed him in the show but that's it. But I'm 💯 sure Sirat's name was taken more than Kartik's name. I would've been happy if Goenka's vanished like Singhania's but Sharma's have no family members to provide maayka, so sadly Vampires are still alive. Also it's not Naira vs Sirat clan, as both of them carried forward Kartik's offsprings.

Abhimanyu:

No funeral (thanks to Akshara for not informing anyone), rare mentions just like Naitik and kartik. Birla's after Abhimanyu's death = Singhania's after Sirat's acceptance.

My my my it's so truee .... Male leads in YRKKH are basically invisible once they’re gone. It’s like they never mattered at all. DKP seems to be all about glorifying the female lead and making her "mahan," which gets old. Instead, why not show real struggles women face in society or focus on a balanced narrative?

One word hypocrisy !!!

And in the end, it’ll be Ruhi’s fault, Abhira will be "mahan" she is the female lead she can't be wrong and Armaan will be the ideal husband. They’ve made these twisted plots seem normal.

I seriously don't get the double standards here.

If Abhinav is being considered as Abhir's father because they got to spent actual time together as compared to his blood father Abhimanyu, then should not this apply to Abhir ruhi and abhira as well? Abhir and ruhi have a past together even though they are not siblings by blood, while Abhir and Abhira never met even though they're actual siblings.

So by that logic should Abhir consider Ruhi as more important than Abhira since blood relations don't matter in rishta verse 3.0 and beyond?

With this logic then seerat should be mahaan and arohi should have been legacy kid ????? Sochne wali baat h

Yeah unsure about the whole name thing but I presume it has to do with Abhimanyu giving Abhir's custody papers as a gift to Abhinav and probably put his last name back to Sharma then. But there's inconsistencies with that so idk. The real reason its Sharma though is for him and Abhira to share the same last name.

Without Akshara and Abhimanyu, there wouldn’t even be Abhir. He’s their child—biological. No Abhir means no Abhinav stepping into a fatherly role, and without that, there’s no “Abhira Sharma.” It’s Akshara and Abhimanyu’s story that forms the foundation of the current generation. That’s the heart of the third generation's story. It can’t just be ignored or brushed aside.

Ikr! I think it’s important that it’s explained to Abhira too! That her mom had two marriages. And Abhir is the child from first marriage. Abhira needs to know what happened in her mom’s life in past years before her birth and Abhir needs to know what happened in last 22 years

Yes, I completely agree with you. My entire motivation to watch this show was the unity every family had to fight circumstances and not fight amongst themselves. The story track since Akshara and Aarohi and now Abhira and Ruhi are just senseless. It's weird to see kids carry negative emotions throughout their lives. Another area of concern is if they have taken so many leaps they are actually living in a much modern era where the thought process is supposed to be evolving aur yaha ye Vidya same Manjiri jaisa behave karti hai. Thoughts?

It's ironic how YRKKH skips over legal details despite focusing on a lawyer’s family. With all the legal expertise in the show, you'd expect them to get the basics right, but instead, they often ignore important legal processes and just focus on the drama. 😂😂😂

Well they turned the loving mother character of manjiri to manjulika in gen 3 and now Vidya in gen 4.... It's always the male lead mom... ( For once in Jhanak the female lead mom is villain 😈 😂😂😂 ) pura birla khandaan khatam hua female lead k chakkar m .... ( Other than 2 people who are kept for female lead to grow and be stepping stone)
