Rohit forced him? He is not a 6 month old baby. Even if Rohit made the decision, Armaan as a lawyer and a 'moral person' knows that it is wrong. He could have always said 'no' and told his brother he was wrong. He took it due to his selfishness. He took the baby even before Abhira woke up so no, emotional blackmail by his wife is not a reason to excuse his behavior. Even if Abhira had uttered these words, it is his responsibility as her husband to support her and slowly break the news to her,

Keeping quiet even after Ruhi woke up makes him look more vile. Continuing to cheat his wife by keeping the truth in the dark increases the vileness level. And even according to the law, he is a kidnapper.

Yeah if Armaan would have really kidnapped the baby I would have said so. Roohis pati Rohit literally forced him to take. That doesn't make Armaan saint but not vile too. He is wrong no doubt and should speak up. I don't support him either but with Rohit in picture it doesn't make him look vile. Rohit is half parent of that kid who took that call and thinking about his wife Abhira (who says I would have died if something would have happened to BSP) his intentions are not cruel.

I agree he is selfish here, I also agree he is not 6 month old baby that's why he is wrong too for hiding truth from both mother's but I still don't agree he is vile. We both can have different opinions about it too, nothing wrong in that so let's accept as is :)

Let's agree to disagree smiley9! His vileness can be debated but the fact he is a criminal can't.

Armaan is definitely wrong and not defending any of his actions in this track. He deserves the punishment that he is going to get once truth is revealed and Abhira might leave/divorce him.

Any mother doesn't deserve to go through this and Ruhi is no exception. My main problem here is her vileness towards the baby. She hates Abhira, that's given but why show her vileness towards an innocent. If she dislikes/hates, she can stay away from the baby rather than showing her hatred towards an infant. Her actions can not be justified and this time, I want her evil deeds to be exposed infront of complete family and every one has to call her out. I know wishful thinking considering her track record but then...

I agree with you. If the writers were ideal, she should be called out. They should show her remorse that she disliked her own child and realization that she is a terrible person. That she needs to step up and become a better person and mother. They should show her blasting Armaan and Rohit (as she deserves that at least) and divorcing Rohit and taking their child away and giving him a better life as a single parent. For Abhira, she should realise what a red flag Armaan is and divorce him and focus on her career (it would be unique on TV to show that not every FL needs a ML to survive). Armaan and Rohit both need to go to jail and Poddar family should realise how terrible they are when they become the laughing stock in front of the media.

But will any of this happen smiley37? If only the writers cared about logic and reality. Looking at the tracks so far, Armaan and Rohit will likely be whitewashed. And for Ruhi it really depends, if they want to justify and cover up Armaan and Rohit kidnapping the baby, they might just call her out as a terrible person and parent and make Abhimaan keep the baby. And they may still keep Ruhi in the same house for drama. Plus, it will be really hard to whitewash both Ruhi and Poddar brothers in this track- they need to pick one if not the drama will become even more illogical. As for Abhira, as the FL needs to have the ML in ITV, they'll just show her being angry with Armaan for a few days and then make her sacrifice her self-respect and with some lovey-dove drama, make her accept Armaan again.

@Bold - Irrespective of whose child it is, she should behave human first. Just assume, she actually lost her child and Daksh is Abhira and Armaan's son, how is it justified for her to behave this way? She is shown less/no mournful towards her loss and more vile towards Abhira's baby which has stared from the day she realized abt Abhira's pregnancy.

@Underlined - She will blast on everyone including Abhira and that's a known. But I want her deeds(past and present) also to come out in front of everyone. Ruhi herself deserves to go to jail for all her kaands including blackmailing Armaan into marrying her, threatening him with suicide.

I don't like labelling people (real/fictional) with color flags so wouldn't call Armaan anything. As I mentioned in my previous post, Abhira can take any decision. As for her career, she still is focusing on it so I don't think that's an issue. She might most probably leave Armaan.

I don't think makers will justify Armaan's mistakes, considering they never did it before. Armaan was always shown realizing his mistakes and blaming himself for it. So he will not white washed here, can't say the same abt Rohit as he is the laadla of Poddar's and he himself might flip (high chances). As for Ruhi, for once, I want her to realize, how vile of a person she is and definitely need to seek therapy from a better doctor.

Ruhi is wrong and no one is denying that. Her deeds should come out, but it is too late because Mahaan Abhimaan kept quiet earlier. Even if it comes out now, on what moral grounds can the Poddar family, Armaan or Rohit scold her when Armaan and Rohit committed the bigger crime of kidnapping a baby? Both of them are immoral as well.

I noticed you used the word 'punishment' for Armaan and 'jail' for Ruhi. Shouldn't both to jail being criminals? Why the double standards?

They are already justifying Armaan's mistakes. Why turn Ruhi more vile? If turning another character evil after one's of Ruhi's kaands is considering whitewashing Ruhi, why isn't turning Ruhi more evil after Armaan's crime not considered whitewashing Armaan? What is the point of 'realising mistakes' when one keeps making the same mistakes and hurting people again? He is a total hypocrite- apologies don't make anything right; you need to show remorse and fix the situation. Armaan is not making the situations better, only worsening them with his stupidity. If he doesn't go to jail in this track, what is the difference between the writers' approach to him and Ruhi? Both are criminals who didn't go to jail.

It's the hypocrisy that makes a difference btw armaan n ruhi..Ruhi was characterless but what she did was on face n her hatred for abheera n her lineage was known to all as she never hid it but armaan is a hypocrite man who can say No to marry Ruhi even when she begged him n tried to force him to marry her but he couldn't say No to Rohit who was donating his child.Arman is 30+ Yrs old man n no one can force him for anything let alone donate a baby to him without his acceptance. One side he pretends to be caring for Ruhi's health otherside he is keeping her unknown about her baby's identity n playing a father to her child. One side he is apparently guilty to keep ruhi away from her baby yet otherside happily doing rituals with abheera as baby's parents..One side he is shocked n surprised with Ruhi's naming deed but otherside he himself forgot what he did with Ruhi n baby n is letting baby suffer only because of abheera.

Ruhi is not punished by people..she gets karmic punishment…she does bad stuff and people she loves are taken away from her ..its always been like that..and she’s left sad and miserable..but instead of humbling herself and stopping her vile ways..she continues doing bad stuff and she suffers more…that’s Ruhis life cycle ..until,she reforms and becomes a good person..she’ll continue losing people she loves..although she loves herself more than anyone else 😂

Agreed. Using his hypocrisy to defend him only makes him look more worse. Adding onto your point, what is ironical that Ruhi's traumatic past cannot be used to justify because she is an adult, but Armaan's traumatic past and 'Rohit forcing him' can be used to justify Armaan despite him also being an adult.

I just picked up another hypocrisy- some ask for jail for Ruhi for kidnapping and emotionally blackmailing Armaan to marry her, but cannot accept Armaan going to jail for kidnapping a baby. I don't understand what is the difference between their crimes in terms of law.
