For me, agar makers to akshu and abhi ka reunion dikhana tha to,

pehle to abhi ke character to itna degrade na karte...WD ho gaya chalo sahi hai...But bande ko saalon tak koi guilt mein nai dikhaya.....the abhir ki custody case...abhinav ko dhamkaana...akshu ko rpopose karna...Bilkul villain bana diya use...

then abhinav ko itna accha na dikhaate.....he was shown as a gem of a person....loved abhir...bilkul pure wala.....

akshu ko uske saath move on karte na dikhaate....happy family.....

then makers ne abhi mein koi khaas changes nahi dikhayee....Chai wala scene ZGH se cut paste kar diya...but it had 0 impact....

askhu ko shaadi mein respect and trust jaise bade bade bol na bulwaate...I mean abhi ko chodo...kya akshu trust kar paayegi abhi ko...after the WD and kya woh abhi ki respect kar paayegi???

abhr se pura sach chupa kar, akshu ko emotionally manipulate kare ke reunion karwana...is again a major mistake....

if it is for abhir, how can akshu forget the WD, abhi rejecting her....and abhi rejecting abhir when abhir rejected him.......kahan se trust kare aise bande ko.....akshu ne to sab face kiya hai....

kuch aisa dikhana chahiye tha ki akshu abhi per trust and respect kar sake...and woh move on karne ke liye taiyaar ho.....

this reunon, IMO may not be taken well by the darshakgan...Bhai akshu ki state mein y wuld she want to go back to abhi...kya hai usme???

Dil Ka Rishta mein Jai ka character was pathetic and he was a loser obsessed with Tia. He tried every way to get her but still she chose to marry her whatever name was wala husband. When Jai accidentally killed him there was whole redemption arc to his character. He was no longer obsessed, he respected her and waited for her punishment.

Tia had lost her memory, so it was relatively easier for her to move on. But he never crossed lines. Ab movie mein WD or itna stooped low past nai dikha sakte.. And that's fine... But redemption arc to dikhao...

In my opinion, all the tectonic shifts in the serial are taken by the channel. This looks like the call to end this generation was taken some time ago which is why Akshara is moving on in a fast manner.

The reunion was anyway bound to happen as they are the leads promoted. The show needs a legacy girl child for the next gen. Hence, looks like they clubbed the two. It also adds as a drama.

It doesn't hurt the channel how the character may come across to the audience especially when the Gen is ending. They are just using audience ka sentiment (which is their job, anyway).

P.S: I like Abhinav and Abhimanyu both and I am not taking any actors' side here.

Which audience ka which sentiment? That's what I am saying... There is absolutely no emotional connection to this generation at all.

And we all knew reunion was happening. We were mentally prepared (to troll it) with all excuses on why it's dumb but expected some tough competition from show to prove us wrong... And all.. But they are sort of giving us reason to troll khud se...

I also feel leap was planned with Abhinav's exit. Trp was stuck on 2.1-2.2. So they had to take leap... Then came Abhinav exit impact and hence I feel this pregnancy track again...

The channel does a sentiment analysis of each show. So they have a better understanding. I don't have much insight on that.

Also, let's say for the online audience, Akshnav vs. Abhira fandom was a war zone. Sometimes it still is, isn't that an example of audience sentiment

People are invested in the story. There are so many who claim we don't watch the show but still tweet about it or post it on social media.

The point is whether you like or hate the show, but if you invest time in it, it works for them.

Whether it's accepted or not, Abhimanyu Birla WAS responsible for Abhinav's accident... Ab woh accident car ya truck accident ho na ho, but he still took some dumb decisions, showed no active warning to Sharma Ji for getting up drunkard at pahad and most importantly makers tried misguiding viewers with his intention that makes all his actions even more visible.

In both of the said movies female lead lost their husband because of mistakes made by 'Male Lead'. Male lead showed remorse... Held themselves accountable, felt guilty and genuinely tried helping female lead in their journey ahead without expecting anything. In one of the movies ML was in a way toxic past too of FL. He calmly waited for FL to know the truth (well because telling her the truth upfront would be bad for her mental health), and punish him for his carelessness. FL's MIL being most against ML.

Another one, supported FL in her career and helping her rebuild her deceased fiancé's business. He had feelings for her and never confessed, she was attracted but never admitted. When she did confess, he denied. She tried moving on, but things kept coming back to her... Her family after ALL that convinced her to not her feelings for ML be guilt ridden.

NONE of them showed instant reunion... Plenty of time had passed between accident and remarriage. This show has become ultimate joke! We didn't need a kid, but just to keep potential pregnancy track open, they created this huge ruckus... And Kid could have still been born... It didn't have to be a drama element... It could have been ultimate truth that she had moved on and she had a child with her husband like Dil ka Rishta... Khair.... DKP really needs good set of writers who knows how audience and emotions work.

makers hasn’t held akshara responsible for neil’s death even though abhi and his family (and some audience) blamed her. Just like that Abhi isn’t held responsible for abhinav’s death.

IMO ak isn’t responsible for neil’s death and abhi isn’t responsible for abhinav’s death. Accidents happens all the time. We can’t “blame” people for such accidents. We can blame them for stupid decisions though.

I don’t know how abhimanyu was “responsible” for abhinav’s death when ak wasn’t responsible for neil’s death !!!!
in case of abhinav’s death, the decision to drink at cliff was abhinav’s. Abhimanyu can chose not to drink for whatever reason. Its his choice. People do drink at cliff for better ambience all the time. sometimes one of them doesn’t drink too. Its not unusual. Who expect accidental to happen ?!! People drink or take selfies and even die too. Even-then no one expects such accidents happen to us, right?!!

Abhinav himself is responsible for his death, he chose to drink, he chose the location and he chose to do stupid stunts.

Ps: in real life if abhi was drunk, there is high chance he would have killed abhinav out of jealousy because the man was boasting infront of him. Lol.

Glad to know channel does something from their side as well I'd no idea about such analyses.. But I feel whatever sentiments they read they clearly read it wrong.. Channel has miscalculated Abhira's actual effect owing to online hoopla.. Otherwise trps for Abhira centric episodes having duniya zamane ke festivals gettin celebrated, singing, dancing, playing sport, proposing, hugging, dreamy happy family scenes would be fetching better no.s.. But the show is at its all-time low

Completely agree makers have basked long in fd wars. But just bcos people are part of it doesn't mean they're contributing to show offline or online in any way.

For instance, many who visit the forum neither watch the show on TV/Hotstar nor tweet about it.. they come here merely out of habit or for interacting with their friends. I'll be glad if high engagement resulting out of these activities on yrkkh forum matters to the channel/makers, bcos if it doesn't then I don't see how it works for them..

TRP numbers matter. Probably that’s why they took a call to end this generation. However, even though one of the finest character, Abhinav would not have been till the end because Abhimanyu was promoted as the main lead. Also because the producer also said that this is Abhimanyu and Akshata’s story.

When everything ends l, it comes back to where it started.

In any show, after a point of time story ceases to be a story and becomes more like a number game. If you see a sudden flip in the character, it is not because the story demanded it. It is only because there have been some changes in the track.

Also, IF plays no or very less part in feedback because we are not their target audience.
