How would an Ex feel?

Ever since Abhinav entered in Akshara’s life, she started fuming at Abhimanyu when it comes to Abhir. She praised Abhinav in front of him. And since Abhinav’s death she is pouring out her heart in front of him about her feelings for Abhinav. By witnessing all this I’m wondering how he is able to receive it. From Akshara’s pov, he is an ex-husband, but it’s not the case in Abhimanyu. He hasn’t moved on yet. At present he has worry about Akshara’s well-being and only want to share her pain and loss. But whenever he hears about Abhinav from her mouth what could be his feeling?

It won't matter to anyone , every one is aware of Akshara's disloyal nature. She has an expertise in changing partners but definately won't care to change herself.

I think if this were a moderately normal situation like if Ak had simply moved on with Nav and now he was dead and Abhi was there with her - he might feel sad that things have gotten to this shitty point and stuff.

But after everything Ak has said and done, Abhi is a broken man. He doesn't believe in himself or his ability to even help anyone. So you see him constantly apologizing for himself now. Ak called their love umar kaid. She tarnished all their memories together with her words. Now he cannot even remember that time of their life cause its too painful. So at this point, I think he just feels guilty mostly. Guilty because in any situation, he feels he is to blame. Even Ak mourning Nav, he feels he is to blame because if he had been there, she wouldn't have had to depend on anyone else.

So he obviously feels both sad and helpless. I don't think there is much to feel jealous about really.

Before abhinav death - jealousy and helplessness

After death - sad and helplessness

But regret is constant.

I don’t think there is any jealousy here. Maybe Sad considering he died and AK/Abhir are going through the pain alone. He wants to be there for them without anyone judging his role. Muskaan is sort of gaslighting non existent feelings between them already. He was seen talking to Shefali abt their shared rishta. If they had divorced and coparented since Abhir’s birth, and AK remarried and lost her pati, it would still remain the same between them except Abhir’s equation. But their unresolved feelings haven’t been confronted enough, so I doubt there is any romanticized feelings and if they r present, it is dormant deep inside Abhi and he sort of made peace with their relationship after the temple fiasco.

I would say regret instead of guilty. Guilty would mean he willingly put her in this situation. He did not. Period.

After listening from her mouth about her husband before him…he should get realisation that he should move on and not have feelings for her or wait desperately for opportunities to be close her…that would have helped him with his “feelings “
