Yeah. Because she went through a difficult pregnancy and gave birth to her son and raised him for 6 years. Of course she will be shattered. Abhir stayed with Abhimanyu for two weeks and his mom spread enough venom against Akshara that Abhir had to run away.

They didn't show up to Birla house to show their Mahaanta, they did that because Abhir asked his mom to take him there so he can give the card.

Custody was a doing of all the parents in one way or the other, and am not blaming Abhimanyu for that. In fact, I didn't even criticize him much for going fwd with it. As a bio parent he had a right to fight for kid's custody.

My issue with him started after he won custody. Saying stuff like "I went to court to let Akshnav win" or questioning god "Why are you doing this?"... doesn't sit right with a man who knows exactly why those things are happening.

This is the same thing he did after WD.. He chose his mum which is ok but then he played the wronged party for 6 long yrs even in front of the family of his ex-wife...

This just shows a pattern where one feels their pain is above everyone else's.

Manju and Abhimanyu have suffered there's no denying that & expressing that isn't wrong.. But the way they always emerge as the most wronged party despite being equally or more wrong is unnerving.

And again, this Abhimanyu never had a grown up life or what? I mean who controls their almost middle aged son like this? Manjari needs to know where he is at almost all the time. She weeps like she lost something because her grown ass son comes home drunk one day? Imagine living with a mother like that for all your life. With her breathing down your neck, nudging you towards all what she decides for you. It is definitely a very unhealthy co-dependent relationship. Also, Manjari at the same time expected Akshara to stay away from her 6 year old son? What is this woman even?

Oh God! I can't even talk about Abhimanyu's drama. He hasn't gone through an ounce of pain Akshara went through, throughout her life. How do we even compare her situation when she was thrown out of her house by this same dude who's crying like he lost his favourite toy. There wasn't half the sympathy for her.

I think it should be in the Manjari's side of genes. Mother-son duo is definitely good at playing victim cards.

Also, Manjari has the audacity to say "You know only to give pain, Akshara". Seriously, woman? What have you and your son given her? Bucketful of rainbows and cotton candy? Lol. Yeh mother - son.

I am also hating this track where they are trying so hard to whitewash Abhimanyu without really making him apologise to the shit he put Akshara through.

Also, hate Akshara and Abhinav for starting the jaap Abhimanyu is an better/amazing person than us. What the hell has he done? Let his son go because the said son is not happy with him? Isn't that basic decent thing a human being/parent can do? I can't even.

It is like the movie Mimi. Where Kriti Sanon a surrogate mother loves to death her son. And how the foreign couple realises, having a child doesn't mean they have to biologically yours, all that matters is the love you are able to give the child you raise. 🙄

And why should Abhimanyu forget Abhir because he has Ruhi? When Abhimanyu believed that he is Abhinav’s son then too he was concerned and attached to Abhir! He cried when he couldn’t convince Sharmas against going to US for the surgery as he felt helpless that he isn’t able to do right by him. Finding the truth only increased his affection for the child! Abhimanyu still cares for Ruhi but he has every right to be sad right now.

But AB's unhealthy codependency with his mother & him being a bad husband are established narratives in the show.. So I wasn't much surprised with him choosing his mum repeatedly over AK.

My concern is what was the need to play victim in front of the family of that very ex-wife whom he himself divorced saying their relationship is a catastrophe. Whom he blamed for multiple deaths.

His behavioural trait of being a perpetual victim in front of everyone like his mother is detestable!!

Did he approach them? He left Abhir's bags and left, Abhi wasn't drinking in the house, he was drinking in a restaurant then was taken to the house and responsible adults of that house didn't allow kids near him unlike Sharma couple who let Abhir witness everything. When Abhinav got drunk with Abhi, he had a son at home too, I don't think anyone complained about it

Yeah a doctor drinking in the middle of the day when two other children were awake and about in his house is comparable to Abhinav getting drunk at midnight. Not that using alchohol to deal with sadness is ever okay
