Good. Thats actually all the consistency needed for any character. Someone who actually respects the FL and doesn't indulge in abuse. A rarity on ITV.

Ofcourse there are better written characters and shows. Like duh 😆 Better written MLs who are respectful and don't perpetrate spousal abuse. That's not even debatable.

Naah. Abhinav Sharma is the rare cameo where the FL simply forgot about the ML's existence while he was around. Someone with whom she actually fell in love and never thought of the ML again. No memories, no pining, no nothing. The only other comparison one can draw is Kahin Toh Hoga - Sujal, Kashish and Piyush but even there Kashish had a hard time moving on. Here Akshara found a better man and decided never to go back. In fact, going back only enhanced the difference between her past and present and she felt even prouder of the choice she made. Going back and taking one glimpse of the past, made her hold onto her present even harder. So much so that she chose Abhinav, the cameo over and over again over Abhimanyu, the ML. Unheard of really.

The cameo was brought in because the show was about to get off air since the leads were not able to keep it up. He came and did his job so good that instead of staying for 2 months which most cameos do, he was here for 7 amazing months due to the immense love he received.
People wanted Akshara to be proven wrong in choosing Abhinav, but she knew all along till this day that she made the right decision. Both Akshara and Abhir would choose the cameo Abhinav over and over again and that is what makes Abhinav Sharma a great cameo character :)

How is he being called a cameo changes anything lol? Why is that even being emphasized as it’s a sin? It’s the saving grace of the show is all I know. When you get the answer from someone please tag me lol.

He is better other MLs in ITV……he respects his wife,didn’t throw his insecurities in form of anger on her,didn’t blame her for any wrong happened,didn’t douth her,gave her freedom,supported her education, and mainly he didn’t drag her into his own demons

I forgot to add that he is not a well written cameo character and surprisingly that's all a few like me needed from a fictional show but couldn't get in him.

About spousal abuse yeah I agree watching FL to constantly abuse her ex husband even after divorce was shocking too. That's not debatable.

Like for me he is not good too even though that's the only thing implied throughout his stay. He is quite a bit of a emotional manipulator but that's how i assumed him and high chances are that was not intended by the writers. But he was definitely impulsive while judging too when the video thing happened during the marriage and Kairav walked out he didn't take a second to throw blames on him so without seeing him in the situations our ML has been how can we even say/compare how he would have reacted.

Who knows if he was at the place of AbhiM and lost his brother and Akshara was involved like she was. Who can say what would happen we can only assume.

Hence, the comparison between a ML and Cameo is Meh for me. He doesn't have the story background, no stability nothing to loose. No expectations

Sab shows me cameo TRP increase karne ke liye hi ata hai isme kuch naya ya unique nahi hai, agar cameo utna hi famous hota jitna you are telling and Abhi utna hi bura hota to Abhi ke character ko end kiya jata na ki cameo ko

The “cameo” stayed for 7 months in real world time. But in yrkkh timeline, akshara lived 6 years of happily married life with the so called cameo, which is greater than the number of years she lived with the ML after two divorces.

If gen leap happens, they will reunite and cliff the leads as well like other shows.

Silsila me aya the cameo Ishaan aur wo male lead banke end hua kyunki logo ne usko jyada pasand kiya tha, agar wo case yaha hota to yaha bhi wahi hua hota jo ki nahi hua.

We are not discussing actors here, merely talking about the characters.
HC is definitely more experienced and popular than JS and he’s the reason why I watch this show. I didn’t even know who JS was before he entered as Abhinav. Sadly Abhimanyu is written so poorly that it’s one of HC’s worse characters to be played on ITV.

please for 6 years it was not real marriage at all,it was said in serial ,it was just a agreement who both agreed to co parent Abhir,real marriage started when Akshara knew Abhimanyu getting engaged to arohi and abhinav emotional manipulated to leave her if the agreement doesnt change to real
