Yes because a fictional character is supposed to have his journey and as we can see he has completed most of it. What's hilarious that this is being said about literally the most mature, understanding and supportive character on the show who shows no toxic behavior to others and his own insecurities when brought up not only find closure but also has the character growth required to actually apologize to other ppl involved without prompting...

All of it firsts for this gen and very rare from ITV. Someone who has had actual character arc that depicts beginnings and ends wrt to character development that didn't take years and who hasn't fallen into the same pattern of toxicity once the arc needs were met.

His character pattern arc : Makes a mistake, is shown the mirror, immediately apologies for said mistake, doesn't make the same mistake again.

This post depicts actual character growth. Abhinav has his own flaws and am glad he does. What I love is how character has maintained being human while trying to be a good man at the same time. A hard balance on ITV but one he has met with all conditions. That's Abhinav Sharma for you.

Jab credit leni hai to -

Mera beta ji

Meri biwi ji

He boosted himself all during first Udaipur visit, never gave credit to Ak as mother in her sacrifice, pain, in bringing Abhir..He lonely did not raise Abhir...That's where I started to not connect with him and my POV changed for him...My only complain to him was - he snatched Ak's credit as mother...and it was all about him...

Jab uska judgement wrong padta hai to -

Mein anath ji

muje rishton ke bare mein kya pata ji

Mein buddhu ji

Meri duniya to ap dono hi hai ji

Initial 2-3 times it was ok..but then it seemed he is always playing this card, when things don't go right for him. He is not accepting the truth that Abhir is not his biological son and he has to share him with Abhimaniyu.

But when he needs Abhimaniyu help..he is all bhaiji bhaiji..In hospital, he first said mere bete ko bach lijiye then he corrected himself, apke bete ko 😆

But when comes to give rights to Abhimaniyu as father, he shows eyes to maata and tell her to make his son move on..He tells himself friend of Abihmaniyu😆

When he can't fulfill any need -

he compares himself with Abhimaniyu--

I am not hero ji

I can't dance like him ji

I can't earn like him

Here his intention is to compete with Abhimaniyu..that is what not going well with me...To kisne bola uske jaise banane ke liye...just be yourself in self respect...

He keep saying I will tell truth, but after Manish put condition and he saw Goenaks and Ak supporting him, his attitude changed.

If he has really felt fatherhood with Abhir during these 6 years then he would have thought only best for Abhir, not for his greed to hold on Abhir and not share with Abhimaniyu. Because kid wants to know his father name.

Ak ne chane ke zhad pe chadhaya..you are the only father of Abhir..to kya chad hjana hai 🤪

Here, instead of addressing his son pain and confusion of who is his real father, he is all full of his DDP and made Ak divert from her son pain and issue

What's most mature for doesn't mean that others find it mature too. So stating that he is the most mature character in the show doesn't make sense. Me and many others doesn't find him mature enough.

Similarly the said toxic and non toxic thing it's not necessary what you find as a non toxic behaviour is universal fact. I personally find people like Abhinav toxic. I can never entertain a guy with these characteristics. Personal choice.

Rest yes that's what I said he is not a bad person or anything but he needs self growth

I want to add one more point -

Today in the court -

First he scolded Abhir then ask are you ok

is this proper...kid huimself was scared what happened?? Abhir was looking at him blank and did not speak..

We saw how he opened up to Abhimaniyu..he said he is ok...

Chalo that part we can ignore considering how our parents also behaved sometimes.

But what i find weird is more than being relaxed that Abhir is safe he was shocked that Abhi saved him or maybe his expressions were confusing

All the characters in the show are inconsistent are they not? Since when is ITV ever consistent with characterization lol, sometimes characters will get a complete overhaul overnight and do a 360 that makes no sense. That can be blamed only on writers than. Folks say that that makes them more like humans irl that are inconsistent.

Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with being 1. A goody two shoes and 2. A "self-proclaimed" goody two shoes. He's not perfect right, but that's what is said about Abhimanyu too.

There is inconsistency with judging characters as well, bias makes one judge character more than another (obviously) even if both do something similar. Naturally folks that dislike Abhinav will have an issue with him being an acha admi (an actual acha admi). That can be said for other characters with their other qualities as well.

I don't understand the problem with not liking Abhinav Sharma. We all have our personal preferences. Why so much of moral policing towards the people who don't like him. He is a fictional character obviously some will like him or some won't.

It's completely fine if you don't find anything wrong with him being goody two shoes but I do and that's what i state.

Also, it's being said for other characters too so what's the big deal on calling out the flaws of Abhinav. I mean the amount of hate Abhimanyu as a character gets is way more than anyone i have ever seen. Infact somedays he gets bashed for merely standing somewhere. People called him words for only helping AK with the pani ka matka too.

I will say it again I personally don't understand Abhinav and his words. I personally don't like people like that. His actions and words doesn't match.
