My issue with Abhinav is also only this that he always nowadays calls Abhir only his son as if Akshara is the step mom. And plus ya, he keeps asking Akshara for support but doesn't support her anymore. Ever since they are in Udaipur and he has insecurity now, he doesn't support Akshara at all. Even in the hospital today, he didn't go to Akshara to support her, he allowed everyone to support him.

In front of Abhimanyu, he is now just a man who wants "his" son, not Akshara's son, his son. That's the issue I have with him, nothing to do with Abhimanyu or Akshara.

I read the diff takes on this thread and many pts. are right in their perspective. I hope writers have achieved their purpose now 👏 These conflict of perspectives arise totally bcos of the vahyad merry-go-round of the screenplay that's going on for past mts.

Writers aren't sure of what they want. So they give Akshnav scenes to entice new audience & then backtrack it to not let go of Abhira fans.

During 1st UD trip, they showed them progressing with little gesture of removing ji from their names & instantly the next day Ak became paro and ran to Ab. One day they show Ak saying "I would choose Nav 100x." Then another episode give her dialogues "Mai apka ehsaan kaise chukaungi." They show progress with soft scenes, but backtrack it with Ak spilling her bedroom secret.

At this pt., audiences from both sides are bound to be left confused. What are writers ultimately aiming at? Plus the brilliant dialogues just add petrol to this fire.

Today it was glaringly visible that no one was standing with Ak. Even I mentioned this in my post. What was the purpose behind this? To show Gs are useless (we all already know) ; To show Nav is a bad partner ; or To whitewash Manjhari maa??

God knows.

The lengthy useless poems, inconsistent pacing, odd-even day arcs... this all is not only offputting, it's making it hard to articulate firm opinions bcos of unsureness what'll happen the v.next episode.

Ideally since they're showing AkshNav as a pair nd Ak keeps on insisting that Abhir is AkshNav child the precap scene should have been between them...even in today episode there should've been some scenes where both together r scared as parents but r being each other strength communicating non verbally or verbally...I guess that's what's missing...I kinda understand what u r saying with Nav fearing loss of Abhir but it was just sad how accept MJ no one consoled Ak but were rather fixated at the fathers , she's got rights nd everything but incorporating that in screenplay is also essential...AkshNav should've been a single unit here...these r tough times nd that was missing

Similarly for Akshara her fear of losing her son is her greatest fear. She finally has someone who loves her unquestioningly and unconditionally. Abhimanyu behaved like that because of his childhood trauma. Kairav is the way he is because of his experience with Anisha. Goenkas are the way they are because that is all Akshara has shown them. All the characters have a reason for behaving the way they did. We do not excuse anyone for their behavior so why should I excuse Abhinav? Also Jai Soni is doing himself no favors by the over dramatic acting that has been happening

I also think some of our opinions or viewpoints are colored by personal experiences. I will never ask for sympathy and I hate crying in public so even at my lowest point my tears were in the privacy of my bathroom or in front of my husband. I do not even cry in front of my parents. But people in my life and most people with compassion understand that just because someone is not making a show of their grief and vulnerabilities does not mean they are unfeeling or are ok with the situation. The last few months we have only see Abhinav focus on his feelings. Just because Akshara is not making a whole production of her hurt, fear and insecurities does not mean she is OK

He heard that AbM cannot operate the kid as he is his son and Ar trying to convince him and Anand trying to find a Dr from more than half an hr but unsuccessful.God only knows what happened to that Dr.Roy who flew overnight without a visa. If u rem A few days back he challenged AbM that he can lose anything but not his son but today for Abhir’s sake he is ready to give up Abhir too so he said not my son but ur son.
Even I wondered why no one except Kairav consoled Ak even Anand consoled AbN ..writers ki jai ho 😅

I mean atleast from where I can see Abhira is their endgame...Nd i don't want to accept that pair without a proper redemption arc...yeh odd even storylines nd inconsistent screenplay ki jgh acha redemption arc hi de dete i don't think TRP affect hoti if they had played that we'll...coz tbh rn from the writing direction screenplay everything is shitty nd u can see that in acting as well...i consider most of the cast as good actors but currently I'm pretty much dissatisfied with all....So if this can fetch Trp that would too.... it's high time they do away with the ambiguity coz it's not like they're doing any justice to AkshNav ....this is my personal opinion but i don't see AkshNav as good well written second chance at love/friends to lovers trope

That's the same as every mother saying your child when the kid does some mistake. Repeating that in front of Abhimanyu is just trying to rub salts. Abhimanyu at least says humara beta to him, he says mera beta to only Akshara.

Insecurity seems to be making Abhinav regard Abhir as a prize to win, which gets him Akshara too. Right now, Akshara is the one who wants support, even between Abhi and Akshara, she needs more support, she is the mother who is close to losing her son, Abhinav might have been with her in the journey and supported her, Abhi might be the father, but Akshara is still the one who needs maximum support.

I think Nav is called out based on how his character is shaped and how he is a hurdle for Abhira to reunite. I wouldn't say I am big on ITV shows but I have watched some and those with leaps/separations can go on for months before a reunion and here we are talking about ye rishta so for people to complain about him being in the show for over 5 months doesn't make sense. There are times his ss is more than others and at times he's barely seen for the entire week. I am sure if he was shown as an abusive husband and Abhimanyu would come to save his soulmate, no would have an issue with him.

I do think he was not brought in for this long but audience have seemed to accepted him and thats the reason he's still here and trust me Akshnav will never be the end game, it will alway be Abhira but they will keep Nav in the story for as long as they can and once his purpose is over, they will prepare his exit. His exit is certainly not needed at this moment where Akshara will need his support.

Also, I've seen a lot of posts mentioning he came to gain sympathy and made it all about himself or that no one cared about Akshara but Manjari. All I saw was a helpless father and if he didn't act that way he'd be questioned as to not having any emotions for Abhir anymore lol. The episode was literally 20 mins people. How can we determine that in that timeframe? If they showed this for at least 4-5 episodes. we'd see everyone consoling one another but within that span, it was not possible. Those who are grateful to KM for consoling AK are out of my league. That woman cannot be redeemed with a hug especially if Abhir had fallen sick in Akshnav's presence, we'd see how she would have started calling them out. This 60 something year old woman called out Abhir's parents for being irresponsible and we are over here being grateful lol.

FYI, if Nav sees the hug, he will definitely try to leave and AK will stop him but then he will get called out for manipulation and what not whereas AK is the one who cant let him go. Lets just accept the FACTS instead of being delulu.
