Exactly 💯. This Mahima gets on my nerves as well. Being mother of two daughters how she can do that. But main thing is writers just wanted to show Abhimanyus redumption by picking this sensitive topic and executing it so badly. There are 1000 other ways to do that.

I just don't like how they use women as tools and promote domestic violence. I don't watch Anupama but I heard their also sensitive topics are handled in miserable way to show female lead mahaan.

Atleast these legacy/top serials can start taking a step to show some good things so people mindsets change instead of becoming more corrupted.

I don't think this can justify Abhimanyu ki mistake. Not in my eyes but then who cares main kya sochti 😂

Odd assumptions by your colleagues given in my family none of the men in the arranged marriages have hit their wives, and in the only love marriage my family has seen, within two years of marriage the wife came to her parents and told that her husband had slapped her.

I hated though that she was told there's nothing we can do and that she herself needs to decide what to do given it was her choice.

Basically in my family if you marry by your parent's/ family's choice you are more supported and protected as a girl if things go wrong, but family will take no responsibility or involvement in a love marriage if things go wrong. Not a fan of such a logic my family have. 🤢

Many families do this .

Even if they accept love marriage and they arrange the wedding . Somewhere they have a grudge inside , which comes out at the tym of crisis .

They say things like .. humne shadi Kari hoti to ache se dekh kar karte , tumne khud Kiya h ab tum sambhalo .

And I tell you what they see during an arranged marriage match ... Job of a guy , salary package of a guy , job of a father , no. of siblings in a family , size of the house .

And this is just a myth that guys don't hit in arrange marriage . Many times when girls comes back n complain about the husband her family chose for her . Family is not able to handle their failure and wrong decision . They samjhaao her and send her back saying .. thoda adjust karlo .. acha ladka h n all that ya tumhari hi galti h .

Example of this case is keerti in the same show yrkkh .

The entire family is full of crooks. The matriarch kidnapped her SIL and sent her own grand-daughter to an orphanage and made her daughter mentally challenged. Did the ML arrest her? Nope.

The FL's father mentally abused his mother for years, did the ML do anything? Nope.

The Pyaari cheez openly wanted an EMA with her brother-in-law, caused his wife's miscarriage, stole their embryo and became a surrogate, tried to kidnap their child on gun-point. Did the ML do anything? Yes. He bailed her out and gave said child to her for keeps.

Here at least the ML is only 1/10th as toxic, the families are far less "zillat arena" types and the ML at least shows some guilt and shame.

Ganja has more TRP because they have no competition. No Bhagyas to compete with. Warna acting - especially NB and Mrs. ki is not even worth mentioning.
