Today's (March 5) episode reiterates how Akshu and Abhi aren't on the same paths anymore because they can't see their past the same way and therefore, its hard for them to understand each other.

In this new leap, we never see Akshu remember her 'Abhi'. The Abhimanyu her mind goes to is the one she saw at Neil's funeral. The one who threw divorce papers on her face, papers he just had lying around, and inadvertently insulted their love. The one who threw her biggest trauma in her face and abandoned her after her miscarriage (regardless of one or children lost, she did miscarry that day). Of course she can't forgive him easily - she's so struck by that day that her PTSD of watching another loved one die before her, miscarrying, and childhood trauma is all-consuming.

Whenever Abhi remembers the past, he recalls their happier days, their sweet moments. I don't think Abhimanyu is seeing the full picture of what happened to Akshara that day. He sees how venomous his words were, like the Sirat taunt, but I fear he doesn't understand how much cumulated that day for her. Maybe he thought that she wouldn't go far when he told her to leave and so he's hurt she 'moved on'. Which is why I love Akshu's "I reject your apology" because it reminds him how much she suffered too and how what she suffered isn't too different from him.

It definitely feels sad to see that no one other than Abhinav is really taking a stand for Akshara.. during the Anisha - Khera fiasco Manish was not able to forgive Abhimanyu for not trusting Akshara .. he said his family will always be grateful for getting Manish and Kairav out of a sticky situation and he forgives what happened to him and kairav .. but he cannot forgive what he did to Akshara and when Abhimanyu says Akshu , he corrects him saying Akshara Goenka … I wonder where that anger and care went when he treated her really abominably when she was at her lowest point .. how is he able to condone that? Does he really feel Birlas are justified in blaming Akshu ? Even Suhasini seems to think Birlas have a point .. After Ruhi sings O Kanha and Manjari goes ballistic , Swarna says to BP and. Mimi that even after all these years Manjari is still angry with Akshu and Suhasini says usne sons jawan beta khoya hai .. I don’t really understand Gienkas attitude …

and I do think Akshu realised how much she hurt Abhimanyu when she went away without saying anything.. .. once she sees the pills etc I think she understood the magnitude of what it was to Abhimanyu .. but yeah May be there was also this thing that she did it for him and she probably didn’t know what would have been a better alternative which will also address his hand issue .. so while I think initially the divorce papers and the drama with media and police to Arrest and belittle goenkas made her really angry .. I do think she realised how it was for Abhi ..

That’s the thing, Manish adores Abhimanyu as much as he did Kartik. So, for him to actively wish for and support Abhira’s separation makes me intrigued. What’s going on in his mind? Why is he team Abhinav even though he loves Abhimanyu? Why did he give his blessing for Aarohi’s marriage to Abhimanyu without a fight? He’s acting like a silent spectator and that’s uncanny for Manish Goenka. Especially when it’s the matter of his favourite grandchild, his Akshu, and his favourite person, Abhimanyu. I refuse to believe it’s old age that simmered him down because the way he was riled up during Abhira’s confession contradicts that notion entirely.

I think none of them r aware of what really happened behind closed doors . Abhimanyu told them "woh chalice gayi" , means akshu quit willingly as she was guilty of murders . Abhimanyu showed himself a victim and got everybody's sympathy

Why didn't akshu tell them the truth ? She really doesn't bother giving clarifications to anyone as all of them believed Neil and babies died bec of her. She will soon confront everyone when abhirs truth is out. They r good at writing such scenes , prev confrontation with abhimanyu was also good

Because he sees how much Abhinav respects Akshara and how he treats her. How can a father figure not melt? Besides, they are parents to a kid. He wouldn't dare break the family apart. Whether you like it or not, there are double standards in this society. Jamai sa gets all the protocol and respect, yet bahu rani is narrowed down to the status of a nokrani (not everyone is like that and not every case is this extreme, but this better highlights the contrast).

Anyway, after how Abhinav stood up for Akshara to his bhali bua ji while still being respectful and how Akshara did the same for him, I feel it would be a disservice to break them apart. I so wanna see them being each other's anchor for life.

This also must have knocked some sense into Abhimanyu how stark the contrast is between how he and Abhinav treated Akshara. The former was only nice to her when it was convenient while the latter is a shield for her and would take all the inconveniences of the world on himself just to protect Akshara from any and all the pain.

PS I have personally moved on from toxic love (if we could even call it that) and I would love to see such progressive and inspirational stories being depicted on our screens.

Considering how much he adores Abhimanyu, I can’t digest his niceness to Abhinav. Think about it, after Naira’s death, Manish was so torn and for years later, he couldn’t happily see Kartik with anyone else despite no hope of her ever coming back. Despite the love Sirat gave to Kairav and Akshu, he couldn’t let her and Naira coexist without comparisons and competition. Abhira have a chance at reconciliation yet he’s giving Abhinav the respect of Jamai sa while holding Abhimanyu to the stature of a son.

It's very hard to understand whats abhira's pov right now. I can still understand as akshu was wandering lifeless on street but abhi the way he has been potrayed where he straight away ignored her phone calls it does not show that he was expecting her to come back. He at first only thought of him tbh. His moms pain for loosing neil was his uttermost priority and his pain loosing his child brother was one more trigger and he lost it all when he heard he lost his kids too. Abhi was only thinking about his family. As roohi lost her father, arohi lost her husband, abhi lost his brother, manjari lost his son and birlas lost their child. And birlas lost their inheritors too. But what they failed to understand akshu too lost everything. But akshu's pain is bit less compared to abhi according to him as abhi lost his brother, kids all at once. He is seeing manjari as well in critical situation and he has promised to take care of arohis kid too.

But he must be thinking akshu do not care about what happend to neil as situation are made in such a way it made it look like akshu chose her singing more than his kids and brother. Which is not true. Even i will not blame akshu here for choosing singing if she wanted to go for it. Will abhi leave his surgery just because his wife is labour pain. I dont think so as they will show doctors duty is to sacrifice. But just because akshu is a singer and woman i did not liked the factor of stopping her from going behind her dreams. Now look at akshu they blamed her for being selfish and ignoring neil for her singing but look at her she stopped singing too. This is how society manipulates women into leaving her career. Did abhi left doing surgery after unable to save neil that day no right.

I really hope akshu gives it back to birlas all at once when abhir truth comes out. I would love it if she does it infront of court where manjari can't stop her from saying anything. I believe in bp also similar thing happend where zoya gave it back in court or something.

Akshu has all valid points to put infront of court.

1. Birlas blaming her for nonsense.

2. Birlas leaving her when she needed them the most.

3. Birlas ignoring her even she made phone calls to them tried contacting them to tell them about her child.

4. Birlas never tried contacting her nor tried to know how she is dead or alive.

5. Birlas ignoring everything and still acting normal as if nothing happend.

@Bold- You really think that is what kaand maata's laadla was thinking when abhinav or akshara were defending each other? Realisation? Nope! The boy was aag babhoola seeing his ex-wife and her new husband acting like a single unit defending one another. In fact, his eyes were searing hot red volcanoes and his body was almost shaking in anger when akshara proudly called abhinav her husband and was defending her husband. Tabhi toh right after that he started over-doing it with his words to convince kaand maata that he wants to move on with arohi and that akshara's participation by bringing kalash doesn't bother him. There was no realisation on his part seeing abhinav defend akshara against his mother, all I saw was his jealousy.

Agar ab woh Akshara ko apni life mein wapas layega, wo sirf Abhir ke existence ki wajah se hoga. And kya wo Abhir aur Abhinav ko alag kardega ek dusre se? Uske characterisation mein agar better changes lane hain toh he should remain Roohi's Poppy and let Abhinav raise Abhir as his own son. Kabhi toh selfless hokar apne bacchon ka khayaal karke unki life mein shanti rakhe.

Not sure when his realisation will be, but seeing your question in bold makes me really want to see akshara question abhi in front of all, that if he knew she was still pregnant then would he have not tossed her out that day like useless and unwanted furniture and not divorced her? Did she somehow lose value for him when she was no longer carrying his children?
