We're just saying that men like Abhimanyu shouldn't marry until they grow up and become independent of their mothers. I have never supported abhi as i started hating him post leap even though he was my fav character pre leap and everyone here are aware of that how much i have supported him and his actions. But i am only saying compared to other show mls he is still sane and deserves a second chance. And expecting itv ml to be god is too much to expect from itv as indian audience wants drama and they will die for drama and itv characters are prone to this damage for their trp race.

But without knowing my complete perspective you just made a judgement on me just because i said he deserves a second chance. Every human deserves a second chance even criminals do. If abhi is ready to repent for his mistakes and promises to not to repeat them and takes therapy for his anger issues why should he not get a second chance?

Sorry to say but everyone has different perspective of life. You should not judge everyone based on a comment and pass comments on them. And i am mature enough to understand and decide why he deserves a second chance 🙂 you need not feel sorry for me and other girls. As they may also have their own perspective.

I know there is no point in nitpicking now .. so much water has flown under the bridge .. but still the preconfession Abhi was slightly problematic for me .. I felt the way he reacted during Tilak 1 was really over the top .. I had made some post a few days back about this .. while soul connection etc is fine , he and Akshara had never had a clear conversation that he likes her and vice Versa.. any normal girl will wait for a declaration of the intent even if there was some flirty or subtle hints .. and she was not responsible for the confusion.. but the way he spoke on that day made it sound like he abd Akshara were very clear who they liked and he wanted her to back him up

On that and he just went after her in front of the entire family and the sister who was supposed to be getting into the relationship , saying that he and Akshara had clarity .. and then he felt she insulted his love .. but any normal girl would only at best say that she thought he liked her , but when proposal was supposed to be for her sister she thought she was mistaken.. but which guy will put the girl he loves in such a situation where she looks like she had a relationship which she is refusing to own up to ? And how does he expect her to declare love the next day .. there is bound to be awkwardness when your sister has been in an embarrassing situation .. but he still waits just one day before he again goes after her demanding an answer instead of patiently trying to build a relationship .. and then when his mother wants him to marry they both go ahead and choose the sister of the girl he is in love with as of there are no other eligible girls in Udaipur .. that was the heights of stupidity .. and then he went about making it all about getting Akshara to confess rather than going about honouring the commitment he made .. and then when he could have broken the wedding off citing Arohi’s lies even before she came to the mandap , he chose to force Akshar’s confession on that day itself and made a public spectacle where one sister became a party to the other one being jilted at the mandap.. he must be at least 7-8 years elder to her ? He should have and could have handled every single one of those situations much better .. but I guess Alshara only saw that he loved her so much .. these are really flaws in the character which should have rung alarms .. but there was definitely the Junoon and all and he did love her quite passionately .. just putting my view after having watched these episodes again recently .. in fact in the temple when breaking off the rishta with Arohi , he even says something like Alshara was willing to forget every promise made to him to keep Arohi happy and I was scratching my head as to when did Akshara make promises to him before that day .. unless he means some unspoken promise that he assumed because of the soul connection ..

Just clarifying that I did enjoy Abhira I spite of the issues I felt .. I haven’t watched previous seasons and started watching season three because I as in between projects at work and I like Harshad Chopra and loved O kanha and the initial connect between them.. and I am still hoping to see a proper redemption track ..

I think in this case she needs to know that he really repents and did not mean the stuff he said and does not hold her responsible for all that stuff .. he apologised for seeratmaa but that sounds like GE felt everything else he did was justified including divorce .. which makes it look like he does not think the rest of whatever he said and did were wrong .. till that part is addressed I don’t think her knowing he misses her or is sad without her would be enough .. he seems to have totally forgotten that day or is suppressing his memory of how he behaved .. not one reminiscence of that by him till now ..

Even though i do not remember everything what happend in the past but as far as i know i was able to justify his actions after analyzing those episodes. Now do not recall much but only thing i know is everything boils down to 2 main issues abhi has 1. His mom 2. His anger issues.

He has to overcome both of these issues and seek redemption. He never tried marrying arohi for making akshu jealous like how we see in ekta shows but the only reason he did that was to for his mom and for the fact that as per him arohi saved him from fire.

He is repeating same mistake. He is marrying arohi becasue of his mom and he thinks akshu married some one else. His redemption is something i am looking for.

I agree that he did not decide on Arohi to make Akshu jealous , but throughout the time he was engaged he was trying to get a reaction from Akshara and going out of his way to get it .. and honestly the family was asking him to marry for Manjari’s sake .. they could have looked for any other rishta .. any person with common sense would know it is a bad idea to try and have a relationship with the sister of the girl you just now fell madly in love with .. I understand it was needed for serial drama .. but there was no pressing reason to marry Arohi because she seemingly saved him from fire .. that is what I felt .. but yeah these things do not matter now .. what matters is he addresses his anger issues without becoming a lifeless shadow of his original self and learns to stand up to his mother as well

The reason why they picked arohi was she was a doctor and good choice for birla hospital. So abhi was anyways going into loveless marriage but since manjari was convinced that arohi loves him he went with the flow. That's what i process from that scenario. But i don't want to judge any characters from their past actions. The only character i am unable forgive is arohi rest all i just ignore as itv meant to add these cringe tracks to maintain trp. Its of no use for us to analyze them and try to find the meaning of tracks. As truly speaking itv tracks puke worthy and cringe. And i tend to forget characters past actions for my own happiness 😄 unless they show arohi repenting on her actions i can not forgive her.

A. I did not judge you. I have no right to.

B. I did understand your perspective the first time. I just respectful disagree. And that's okay too. The world is not linear. We're different people with different experiences and different thresholds of tolerance. My past experiences entail that people like Abhimanyu hardly ever change. And even if they do, there is just so much bad blood that the relationship can hardly recover. It's just better for them to start fresh. Now you may absolutely disagree because your experiences and what you learned from them may be totally different. But that's the beauty of it. We can have multiple people with same experiences who come out completely different. Like each metal has varying boiling and melting points, each human's threshold and sensitivity vary. To some extent, it depends on our outlooks too. What we choose to see, focus on, and believe.

I did not take any offense to anything you wrote. I like healthy discussions with people who may have a different POV than my own. That's how we learn and grow.

Girl... it's like you gave words to my thoughts. I tend to digress. I couldn't have said it better. But thank you for recognizing that he has always been problematic. Most of us fail to recognize such red flags early on because we're not fine-tuned to unless we have a soul-shattering experience. I would not wish such an experience for any girl. But in order for that to happen, we need to educate our girls to value and respect themselves enough to be able to recognize when they are not being treated right. When we provide a safe environment for them, they'd learn to differentiate between paranoia and real red flags. They'd learn to listen to their instincts. These shows have a great platform to be able to raise awareness, but all they focus on it TRPs. I am not asking for every show to be educative or have some kinda moral lesson. Entertainment is equally important, but how is toxicity the first thing they land on when thinking about entertainment? I'm not even against them showing toxic characters. Such people really do exist IRL. What doesn't sit right with me is the fact they glorify such people (especially men). They should at least have one sane person saying this won't fly. They can definitely be subtle about it, but all I'm asking for is show it in a way that the audience gets the message that is ain't normal.

Why are you not willing to forgive Aroohi if you're willing to forgive everyone else?
