abhimanyu character they ruined it completely post this track. If he gets back to her because of abhir its very unfortunate that abhira is dead for me. I hope by looking at precap may be akshu left a letter that day before leaving for abhi so that he can look at that when his anger cools down. Where she has written what exactly happend that day and that's when his guilt will start coming out and he himself decides that he is not a good husband for akshu and decides to sacrifice and abhinav either gets killed and realizes this truth and seeing how abhir is happy with abhi and akshu he speaks the truth and stops wedding like salman khan in kuch kuch hotha hai. That can be the only way to redeem abhi now.

All this only goes to show that Abhi and Akshu were never made for each other.. They don't bring out the best in eo, they have no tranquility or maturity in their relationship and apart they seem to have developed into better human beings.. Abhimanyu definitely is a better man now than when he was with Akshu.. Akshu however continues to have that core of insidious selfishness intact.

In fact, his eyes were searing hot red volcanoes and his body was almost shaking in anger when akshara proudly called abhinav her husband and was defending her husband. Tabhi toh right after that he started over-doing it with his words to convince kaand maata that he wants to move on with arohi and that akshara's participation by bringing kalash doesn't bother him. There was no realisation on his part seeing abhinav defend akshara against his mother, all I saw was his jealousy.

True. I don't even care how he feels, but I would still he realize so that he doesn't treat Aroohi (and by extension Roohi) the same. Aroohi has reformed (hopefully it sticks). She doesn't deserve Abhimanyu's cold treatment if they do marry.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Abhimanyu was never a good husband post- or pre-leap. He was always this volatile and obnoxious. No sane person does what he has been doing ever since the first tilak. We need to learn to recognize the red flags and need to educate our daughter to do the same.

Update: March 6th Episode

Pranali YOU LOOK SO STUNNING IN THAT SARI, I cannot take my eyes of you. I don’t blame Abhi and Nav for being in love with cause come on, you have the voice of an Angel, the attitude of a sherni, and the looks of a Goddess. To top it off, your heart is so kind 🥰🥰🥰

Back to the acc plot of this post; Abhi’s dream sequence of Akshu or even his memories never touch that unfortunate day. He sees her in the sari, with a mangalsutra and sindoor that echo “Abhi’s Akshu” but that girl is gone. You, in the heat of emotions, broke her yourself. You’re the one who provoked her to rip her mangalsutra off and leave the colourful she adored in Udaipur. Had that necklace and note been with her that day, she’d probably break it too for your words could not be bigger lies in that moment for her. Yes, she too is at fault; you both are for your terrible communication skills, but it amazes me how that day and her condition are never on your mind when that’s all she can think of. The contrast in how they see their past and their expectations is so stark that it makes me want to rewind Abhimanyu’s apology to try and understand his mind frame because I’m at a loss.

Speaking of contrasts, Akshu’s relationship with Abhi and Nav cannot be more different. One fell in love with her sweet voice while the other bonded with her dant. The former fell in DEEP love in two days, from Abhimanyu to Abhi and Akshara to Akshu, while Nav and Akshu are moving beyond the respect phase after six years.

Speaking of moving on, Akshu read Nav’s letter and suggested they break the walls of formality down a little. What’s that about? Misleading signals am I right? Why would you do that? What were you thinking? Please explain? I know it’s not a big deal after six years but it is a big deal, imo, if it’s preceded by a love confession.

Also, can we get Abhi mourning the loss of his children? We’ve seen him heartbroken over Akshu and her “moving on” but I wish they spoke about his babies that were gone too soon. Likewise, I wish Akshu somehow expressed love for the twin she lost during pregnancy. It feels like they’ve glossed over the fact that one child is still gone, even if Abhir is here and is Abhi’s biological child.

Akshu, tum aaj bhi apne aur Abhi ke rishte mein itna bharosa rakhti ho! When Manish was calling your relationship weak, you couldn’t stand it and rushed to blame the circumstances. “Takht thi bade papa, bas toofan itna teez tha ki sab bhikhar gaya.” I agree, but “kahaani ne pane keech gaya” ya tumhe jazbaaton mein unhe pardh diya? Mauka tha, kuch mehnon badh waapas aane ka, Abhi ko sach batane ka par tumne nahi kiya. Was it PTSD, pain, ego, or did you want him to make the first move?

Sorry, couldn’t tag everyone in the thread cause I got lazy lol

Does he really feel Birlas are justified in blaming Akshu ? Even Suhasini seems to think Birlas have a point .. After Ruhi sings O Kanha and Manjari goes ballistic , Swarna says to BP and. Mimi that even after all these years Manjari is still angry with Akshu and Suhasini says usne sons jawan beta khoya hai .. I don’t really understand Gienkas attitude …

and I do think Akshu realised how much she hurt Abhimanyu when she went away without saying anything.. .. once she sees the pills etc I think she understood the magnitude of what it was to Abhimanyu .. but yeah May be there was also this thing that she did it for him and she probably didn’t know what would have been a better alternative which will also address his hand issue .. so while I think initially the divorce papers and the drama with media and police to Arrest and belittle goenkas made her really angry .. I do think she realised how it was for Abhi ..

Do you think her anger will lessen when she learns he’s still taking pills and in pain? The precap with the episode saw her thaw a little but who knows if they’ll drag it long

abhi is far better than mls on other tv i am not comparing with normal humans but itv shows ml. some mens on other itv shows tend to be flirty with other fls just to make their lady love jealous. Abhi never did that. They even try to get back to their lady love ignoring the fact that it was said that they are married but abhi maintained his distance and decided to stay away than forcing her to be with him. He knows his limit. I will not deny his anger issues and love for his mom is too much and he was wrong for sending his wife away but what i feel is it was all because of the heat of the moment.

And preleap abhi the only reason why abhi wanted to marry arohi was manjari wanted it and he thought arohi loves him and akshu never confessed she loves him too. He had to go with the flow but as soon as he realized he got back on his track.

Similarly when akshu left abhi for 1 year. Its expected that abhi will be angry as which wife will leave her husband for a stupid condition. There were lot of other options to handle that situation. Both were wrong but abhi got back as soon as he realized the truth and reality the only mistake makers did was they should have took sometime for abhira reunion.

So i was okay with his character. But this leap his anger issues were at peak. But i do not feel akshu was completely right at her part too. She should have taken decision based on her child than based on her encounter with abhi. She should have royally ignored abhi and stayed with goenkas and took care of her kid. She should have been a single mom. Since both characters have some flaws i am okay to give abhi one more chance. I was equally angry on abhi initially and he was my fav character since the beginning. But now even though i do not have any fav character in the show. When i compare him with other mls of other shows which i have watched he still stands somewhere in between not in the category of worse mls of itv.

i felt more like since abhi is moved on she is also planning to move on. So she was internally waiting for abhi to come and apologize to her from past 6 years. But tbh she never created any path for him to do that she even rejected his apology but she should have also mentioned why she is rejecting it.. As she claimed she is married. Abhir been shown as abhinav's son.

I do not understand itv logic why cant the fl be a mans sister is it necessary to be potray only as wife infront of society does society only recognizes marriage and no other relations other than that as per itv logic.

So what, ITV's toxic males are the standard now? No one here is claiming that Akshara is a saint or has no flaw. We're just saying that men like Abhimanyu shouldn't marry until they grow up and become independent of their mothers. No matter how many kids they have or how many years pass, Abhimanyu will always have one foot out the door if he doesn't break free from his mother's shackles.

Also, let's say Abhimanyu's anger was justified during the first leap, but wouldn't you at least agree that it was blown way out of proportion? It's not like she didn't tell him the reason. It was him who wasn't willing to listen. It was him who didn't trust her despite all his claims and promises. It was him who initiated the divorce. It was him who had her grandfather arrested. He is vile and I feel sorry that you and most other girls fail to see that and even justify that. Perhaps if we weren't so busy trying to find excuses for his behavior, we'd have had clearer visions.

Apologies if you found any of it offensive.

@maroon: Girl, I hope not. To me, it seemed like after reading Abhinav's feelings, she was genuinely open to give their relationship a chance. She was willing to bring down those walls she had created around herself.

@green: that was absolutely hard to take in. If she is still justifying her former relationship to BP, I don't even wanna imagine what silly excuses she must be making for Abhimanyu in her own head. Junooniat is not the same as strength. What's between them is just sexual tension and obsession. Sorry, but I refuse to accept that as love. The ingredients that make a relationship strong are respect, trust, healthy and open communication and it's correct comprehension, compassion, care, and love. Love is not obsession. Love is acceptance. Love is respect. Love is care. Love is security—acknowledging the other person's feelings and making them feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. Love is support. (Support does not necessarily mean enabling. It is also support when you stop your beloved from harming themselves or others be it through their actions or their words.) When you love someone, you're willing to understand them and open to listen to their POV.
