I second your thoughts. I didn’t feel anything for the bidhai. I mean they are in the same city and can meet so it didn’t make sense to me. I cannot relate as we don’t do this in my family if the girl is on our end. But I see that the entire fandom loved it so it must just be me!

I also would have preferred a private break down. Maybe it’s just hitting her now what many of us have been worried about since the confession, what Manish was stressing over - the Birlas elders are severe and serious and do not approve of Abhi’s choice. Still I would have preferred it if she put her game face on and went in.

I think the Birla elders will consider this yet another failing.

But I really love Kairav and Akshu's bond. Both are always there for each other. Kairav needs to take some stand for Akshu otherwise he is the bestest brother she has !

Papa Birla lacks finesse. I wonder how he is successful at PR talking the way he does. Anand is not as abrasive as PB.

The Birlas love their kids based on what they do for a living - and not based on who they are. That’s the problem with them they don’t celebrate their kids or the careers the kids chose, because their paths are not exactly what the parents wanted for them. These unmet parental expectations causes disappointment and unhappiness.

Manjari coming to Ak’s aid and Akshu speaking up for her choice of career were the highlights of the episode!
