I second your thoughts. I didn’t feel anything for the bidhai. I mean they are in the same city and can meet so it didn’t make sense to me. I cannot relate as we don’t do this in my family if the girl is on our end. But I see that the entire fandom loved it so it must just be me!
I also would have preferred a private break down. Maybe it’s just hitting her now what many of us have been worried about since the confession, what Manish was stressing over - the Birlas elders are severe and serious and do not approve of Abhi’s choice. Still I would have preferred it if she put her game face on and went in.
I think the Birla elders will consider this yet another failing.

The Birlas love their kids based on what they do for a living - and not based on who they are. That’s the problem with them they don’t celebrate their kids or the careers the kids chose, because their paths are not exactly what the parents wanted for them. These unmet parental expectations causes disappointment and unhappiness.

Abhira take ashirwaad from everyone. They stop in front of Harsh, and Akshu signals Abhi. Harsh smiles and touches both of their faces. Akshu will be the one who mends this relationship. He will get soft whenever Abhi shows him the slightest bit of affection, and Akshu will be the one to bridge this gap.
