I repeat Abhimanyu said he does not love her. He never said he will sleep around and canoodle with Akshara. As, I said and you also clearly said marriages can mean different things and love is not the foundation of a marriage. Respect and mutual understanding is. If Abhimanyu's plan is to sleep around and drop their marriage at a whim he should have spelt it out for her. Because when she says, I will win your love and the hak to call you Abhi, he doesn't stop her and say, but I won't be giving you the chance because I am canoodle with Akshara. And he shouldn't have promised Geonkas and Aarohi saath nibhane ka vaadha. He should have just told them this is marriage for namesake and I intend to sleep around. But he doesn't. He says this marriage will have everything including respect except for love. And adultery is disrespect and breaking all promises he made to Aarohi. He should have just told Aarohi, I will keep pursuing Akshara. Lol, I can't believe I am trying to convince how adultery is immoral.

Also to him the right to call him Abhi or sit beside him comes under emotional fidelity. So an argument can easily be made that Abhimanyu gets to decide what entails emotional fidelity. Anything, even as basic as sitting behind him on his bike, that he considers a right only someone special has he can refuse Arohi and if he gets to decide what his 'emotional fidelity' continuum is or isn't really what has he given Arohi here?

I don't know whether you are conveniently ignoring the points that people keep raising here. Fine with his emotional fidelity. Why does he keep manhandling Akshara in his cabin and lies to Aarohi if that's what he is promised as bakwaspolice pointed out. Fine he doesn't let her sit on his bike and let her call him Abhi. Or he might not even sleep with her. Fine, don't. He shouldn't either drag Akshara to his cabin and dance with her forcefully or keep canoodling with her and try being in her private space all the time when he promised Aarohi marriage with respect is the point. Not that he should make her sit on his bike and sleep with her. 😅 because that is not part of the deal. And even if it is, he didn't clear it with aarohi. And when the male lead of yrrkh says there will be respect, it means no more touching and canoodling other women.

I think what would have eventually happened is when he would have realised he has no chance on akshara then he would have accepted aarohi as his wife slowly and ended up sleeping with her too for maa's wish of kid. And that is sick. Using a person acc to your own needs and wants

But I'll just say this: even agreeing your inferences are right, it just shows what a lowlife Abhimanyu is with a twisted and immoral mind, with no respect for religious or societal norms or ethics or for any human being.. even akshara, since he expected that she should betray all her own beliefs and morals. Does he consider what a toll it would take on akshu when she goes back on her promise to her sister and takes back her favorite 'toy' which she gave her willingly in the first place? What kind of person that sister is doesn't come into this. It's about who akshu is, what are her beliefs and motivations. Abhimanyu has never bothered to look into her soul. I have no words to describe how slimy and guttery this Abhimanyu is. He can take his ishq wala love and stuff it up his____. How is this character so loved and praised????
