Yeah, dude. Seriously. For all the toxicity Kartik embodied, I did feel sad when he broke down when Naira's health was in danger or when he thought she was dead. I could feel his sadness and his helplessness. But definitely not today seeing Abhimanyu's behavior. I felt second hand embarrassment on the behalf of HC.

and not once was it really shown that JIJA regretted what he said or did to AKSHU that day at the MEHNDI function

he should be hating himself or feeling guilt but no he is hiding under a blanket and crying for something that was his own doing

Not just that, for all the love he claims for her, he never even tried to know how her health was. I thought once she is discharged he would be so worried not knowing how she was faring. No, he was self obsessed. And when she called, I thought he would want to know how she is feeling at least as the surgeon who did her surgery, but no. It's had always been about himself. Even in the operation room, his emphasis was on she listened to him telling her to breathe not that she breathed. I totally see a Kartik in the making or may be worse.

To be very honest initially Kartik was great, par Abhi ka character abhi se assassinate hua hain.🤢

As a Dr its ur moral responsibility to check on ur patient, to make sure she doesn't undergo any type of mental trauma. Yeh janab Thali main saja ke mental trauma pesh kar rahe hain.🤬

No justification justifies his action now, it was ur decision to marry the other sister now deal with it PERIOD.

But loving someone even after loosing them is what Akshu does. She never tried to hurt abhi after rejecting him. I understand that love, Abhi ka pyaar main samajh hi nahi paati.

I agree with you - Akshara is the prototypical Indian serial female lead. She is literally besahaara and will have to fight her way through all the agni pariksha the other characters will set up for her to gain the dubious prize of becoming the Birla bahu. I can only hope Abhimanyu will be put on the reverse character course to Kartik (who started out sweet and supportive but became unbearably chauvinistic and toxic as time went on) but I'm not holding my breath.
