Abhi is only concerned of his Heartbreak, maaf karo dil sabke tootate hain yeh pehele vyakti nahi hain.

But loving someone even after loosing them is what Akshu does. She never tried to hurt abhi after rejecting him. I understand that love, Abhi ka pyaar main samajh hi nahi paati.

Yes dear it is very much desirable. With the onset of feminism and debates on neo-feminism comes a lot of advantages for men as well. The term coined as metrosexual which was looked down upon 20yrs ago is increasingly desired by women. Similarly, men who are not afraid to show their emotions and vulnerability are appreciated because it shows their sensitive side.

Abhimanyu, the alpha male wants his love of life to sooth away his pain and he dreams that she comes and helps him forget his stress and sooths him to sleep is very attractive. Shows how much he needs the girl in his life not just as a lover but as a friend and confidante. She truly is his better half and the relationship is not one dimensional. He sees a best friend in his lover. Probably every girls dream to have such a life partner who sees a friend and a lover in them.

I have already replied to another member in the same thread why I didn't find it desirable. In case, you haven't seen it, I am copy pasting it here.

I just would like to say that I have no issues with men showing emotions and I do appreciate it when they are able to break down and cry to their heart's content.

But sorry to say, according to me this was executed so badly. He came across as super immature and whiny. Again, I am talking about Abhimanyu crying for his mom and at his fate. I am not commenting on his dream about Akshara. I have written enough about what I feel about their relationship and I can say for sure it's not a modern relationship nor is he a metrosexual. The entire relationship is strictly very patriarchal. Just my personal opinion. Let's agree to disagree.

Adding on, men should cry more so that they can channel their emotions in a healthy manner and without taking it out on other genders. Even if it was Manjari or Akshara who was in that scene doing the exact same thing Abhimanyu did, I will feel the embarrassment and cringe, and not empathy.

But if the crying doesn't help him in calming down and mild down his behavior towards Akshu what's the point.

Also, I completely disagree that he is helpless here. His one no can stop all this drama. Not taking action and chumma whining is just annoying to watch.

he also behaves pretty aggressively with AKSHU when she doesn't give him what he wants right so how does it mesh crying under a blanket for mummy and forcing AKSHU to wash off mehndi and get on his bike

in my opinion this is not a healthy show of emotions JIJA is playing the victim and showing a total lack of agency and responsibility for his own choices

Exactly, this is the footnote. Akshu at least thinks that she's ruining 3 lives, But Abhi still doesn't.😡
