lat55 and charu,with MILs idealism never works,for that matter i am not complaining that we cannot live harmoniously. we can but like i said the timing , way u put it across matters .not having lot of people when u talk and also not involving u're husband unless it is a serious issue works in an arranged marriage.like charu said u spend a lotof time with sasuma than u're husband so some amount of delicate handling is required

i agree with you on delicate handling.it's most required in any relationship and specially with MIL

akshara has to take responsibility of changing gaya3's attitude and thinking.. because people are different, and if you can make them realise, and make them know what you are, it will be easy for gaya3 too know about akshara.. a relationship needed to be developed here.. no thru a fight..

In that case the road looks quite rough for Akshara....
To change a person's attitude and thinking can take years of nurturing.....

charu after all MIL are also human being.. what is creating fight is that if i put myself as a DIL, that i cannot understand my saas, and i am bringing my ego, pride, attitude etc infront of her.. may be her actions towards me can be hurtful, but what i needed to do is understand her more, understand her feelings more, may be putting myself into her position.. why to hurt her, allow her to be herself, and can make her realise her own mistake, through my own good nature towards her.. i dont loose anything here, but i will make a big gain in the bargaining.. anyway my hubby's mum, if i love my hubby why i cannot love other things related to him.. i will definitely work on myself more than thinking of MIL and loose my peace of mind..

u can change a person when a person wants to change,gayatri will change only when she gracefully accepts that her son is married and he needs to give equal imp to her relationship with aks .that is an ideal situation but gayatri being gaytri needs special handling because like rajshri👏 she is not able to accept another woman in her son's life.gayatri is "FRAGILE-HANDLE WITH CARE"written all over her and aks is not a mature enough person to do that.so aks has to tread carefully

Some times even years of nurturing do not help. To change any person's attitude (I just mean to make a person understand your point of view not change that person's nature) it is very important that the person is ready to understand and accept things. Rajshri is like that. Gayatri on the other hand (so far) is little stubborn (for the lack of a better word) and will not be ready to accept and understand Akshara's place in Naitik's life and Singhania House easily and truly.
