Hum Tumhe Chahte Hai Aise - Mukhi's Realization of Love 13.7.17

Mukhi's Realization of love was one thing we were waiting for so eagerly since long. And it was done really beautifully today.

Yesterday, i thot the diary girl track was messed up, bt still i kept a slight hope up tht may b CVs will turn around things with one little dialogue and one little scene.. as is thr normal trend .

And viola we werent disappointed today.

For one, Mukhi always knew tht he loved Aru. The diary girl he liked, he had always tried to search his gaurani in her, which was evident in the way he kept comparing her with Aru, taking diary girl's advice in wooing his gaurani, and flirting with the Aru-Saanvi's idea tht he was in love with diary girl. He even visualized her to b a gaon ki gori..tho he knew tht diary girl was a city girl. So thr lied his eternal dilemma.. he definitely loved Aru bt cudnt c her settling in his village world. But with diary girl he cud fantasize her to be the ideal village girl.. all the qualities tht he wanted to see in Aru, he had found in diary girl.. imagine this person's happiness when he realizes tht two girls -- the reality - his true love and his fantasy - his ideal girl are one and the same person... and it was evident on Mukhi's face today.

he was extremely happy, overjoyed so much tht he didnt know how to react when Aru suddenly left him in angry hurt mode without listening to his explanations..

When Saanvi voiced his inner feelings.. he felt extremely happy,, a faint hopeful smile popped up on his face.. bt the very next moment harsh reality of thr lives struck him hard.. so yes Saanvi was very much needed to push him towards tht line tht took him to the love of his life..

I never wanted Saanvi to do tht.. bt now when i retrospect on Mukhi's character.. we always knew he wudnt b able to acccept the fact tht easily tht he was in love with gaurani.. with so much burden of responsibilities, of duties, of family, of always doing the right thing.. tht he jst wudnt b able to do it without 1. display of immense love by Aru 2. a soft push by Saanvi.. and both were done beautifully.. via jealousy + changing behaviour track of Aru and Saanvi's display of true fship!

Well done CVs.

Loved Saanvi's stance too.. earlier i thot she was jst good at giving emotional advices, bt today she proved tht indeed she is one valuable friend to have.. very balanced and clear headed. Bt she also comes across as someone who is sensitive and one who has probably experienced both thee emotions v deeply - of love and of painful seperation... so she cud understand Raju's happiness when he found true love in his life after such a long time.. and also undestand Aru's pain.. for she knows how hurtful it is when u cannot be with the one u love ..

For me this scene was most imp..

the rest was okay, too dramatic.. and very funny.. and we have already discussed it in other posts.. so will not lengthen this post further more.. bt

of course i loved Mukhi's whole meri aru thing and finally accepting ARu as his responsibility, his amanat, his ardhangini..

and to him is dedicated today's song:

As you said, he was indeed hoping the diary girl to be Aru. Remember at the Jalebi shop he ran forward looking for Aru and was immediately disappointed when he saw some other girl. If he thought them to be separate entities the stranger girl wouldn't have disappointed him. She could be anyone, even a stranger. But subconsciously he did know that these two people are the same

Well observed @Vidi ! 👍🏼 I had always got this sense from his behaviour tht he always wanted Aru to b tht diary girl and I had mentioned tht in my previous posts too. 😳

Lovely post as usual. Loved the whole diary girl revelation, love realization and disappearing of that last ounce of hesitation from Mukhi's side.

As you said, he was indeed hoping the diary girl to be Aru. Remember at the Jalebi shop he ran forward looking for Aru and was immediately disappointed when he saw some other girl. If he thought them to be separate entities the stranger girl wouldn't have disappointed him. She could be anyone, even a stranger. But subconsciously he did know that these two people are the same.

Loved how he suddenly finds that sense of belonging and says Meri Aru, like, 500 times. It was more of an acceptance.

Exact ly I was so scared with the diary thing thank god it came out the right time and beautifully
