Swati did tell Kamya. It's Kamya and Preeti who have taken a decision to keep quiet. We don't know what exactly she said to Kamya, but we'll see...I hope. That's exactly the point. How can she allow the decision of her marriage to her friends...she cant and she shouldnt . If she wanted that relationship then she should fight for it. Best example is Sameer and Naina , they want their relationship to survive...and their friends and relatives understood that...when the need to survive is more , people will understand...when did Swathi show that need, we have seen Munna blabbering about the relationship...if she went and did her engagement what will her friends do...did she tell them before that ...we have no clue..

So either she is going to elope with Munna with their friends help or she is going to tell them that Munna isn't serious and she doesn't think this relationship to survive hence she has decided to move on...

When one needs anything in life ,not just about marriage...anything.. its the person who needs it should work hard to get it...only then people around will understand and try and help you in the best possible way they can. Never sit back and think it will be offered to them on a golden platter...

Even in Naina and Sameer's relationship there was phase when Naina decided to listen to her family and get married to another guy. At that time even Sameer couldn't do much as she was adamant that she will only listen to her parents...Only now Sameer and their friends could help because Naina herself decided to be with Sameer. A gentleman will never force his affection on a woman , she needs to make him feel that he matters to her and he is the one with whom she wants to spend her life.

They still have time , only engagement happened...we will need to wait and see what Swathi has to say ...

@sakhile why should sameer and naina walk out of their own wedding for someone like swati? You seem to hate samaina for some reason. So much hate is not good for health.

I have pulled some points out of what I have posted earlier about Swati Munna.

People have different priorities in life - for Sameer his priority is Naina and he is ready to go to any extent and do anything ridiculous to please her. However, for Munna his priority is his friendship. That is why he is letting his own love life take the backseat for his friend's happiness. We have seen lot of relationships being sorted out due to his marriage namely the parental relationships however, I feel Munna-Swati's love is going to be the ultimate sufferer of Sameer-Naina marriage.

If Swati's parents are fixing her marriage and if Munna is asked to marry her immediately, I don't think Munna has either bullheadedness to fight with his parents nor money like Sameer to arrange his own marriage. We have to be real here not every 20 year old guy is ready to commit to something big as marriage. At 20 girls may be pressured by family to marry but guys of 20 are usually are not considered to be at the age to marry - that is the social truth. Beside even guys themselves when they are so young many not look forward to committing that early.

My biggest issue of the show has been the one sided narratives of situations. When people fight or disagree, there are two different types of reactions one each from each side. However, we have till now have only gotten to see Sameer/Naina's emotion. Also I don't know why CVs open doors for other relationships when they don't want to show anything regarding it. We as fans know that Swati and Munna are seeing each other but we don't know the extent of their involvement with each other because that has been totally left to the viewers' imagination. What do we know about what Munna and Swati talk to each other in private, how deeply or not deeply were they in love with each other, what kinds of phone conversations do they have etc. I don't know how most viewers have reached to the conclusion that Swati and Munna's love is not strong enough.

Some people seem to seem to take offense when one says Munna prioritized Sameer's marriage over his own girlfriend or Naina being her best friend failed to see that something was troubling her. What is wrong with pointing out that due to the importance placed on Samaina's wedding, other aspects got overlooked? It happens in life and nobody needs to think that it is geared towards hating Samaina.

If you ask me Preeti was totally wrong to choose not to let Munna know about Swati's roka. I don't know if it is even fair to keep a boyfriend in dark because your sister is getting married. Given that he is the main wedding planner, he has the right to know what is happening to his girlfriend and his love life.

Besides if the CVs had chosen to show Munna caring about his girl, the fans would have been mad that he is not being Sameer's friend during this marriage. I think majority of the fans' have such strong support for Sameer & Naina that the feelings of other people don't matter that much in show.

that's the whole point here...every one has their own priorities...for Naina and Sameer its always them first , for Munna its his friends , for preethi its her sister , for Pandith its Munna and Sameer...I have never understood who is Swathi's priority?? We will get to know soon...and even if she doesn't choose Munna its fine...she has to priorities her life...

Regarding the VO...this is Sameer and Naina's love story , and the narration is based on how they see their life and how their life gets influenced because of other ppl around them...so we might not get a complete insight into side characters...because the focus is always on Sameer and Naina...

I don't know if the CVs will bless us with Swathi's pov and her needs in life...because we have never heard about what she wants from life...only from her initial behavior we have understood she needs someone like Sameer.

Well said Shilpa. You have again put into words what is in my heart. We keep being fed only one point of view, that of Naina and Sameer. For some viewers this may be what they want.
